my daughter is almost 2 and a half. i’ve been sending her to this daycare since she was 6 months old. the amount of complaints i’ve given to the director regarding extreme diaper rashes, failure to contact me as the mother to advise that my daughter has gotten hit in the head or face which caused a bruise, and nothing was done on the directors part, i was only given attitude. the director is very unprofessional. you go to her with issues involving her staff and she will roll her eyes and give nasty faces. they will hire anybody, i really am not even sure if background checks are done. their one toddler teacher abuses and mistreats the children, majority of those children were pulled out but the teacher still has a job. this daycare has really gone down hill. in my opinion, they shouldn’t even have 3.8 stars on their rating. and just for some proof that this daycare sucks: here is a few pictures of how my daughter was sent home yesterday. FECAL MATTER on her person. and the diaper was only wet with urine. if you care about your children, please steer clear of this place.

We love it here! We moved our son from a much larger corporate daycare a few months ago and we are so happy we moved him. I have so many positive things to say that I have to get it out there for others to know:
- Teachers/Curriculum/Staff: they are kind, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. My son (2yo) was recently given a "report card" which outlines milestones for his age and how he is doing with those milestones. We were also allowed to have a conference. They have certified teachers on staff and they create a wonderful curriculum. Our sons vocabular has exploded since being at "A Childs World". They have themed weeks and activities they do in class are based on the theme. My soon came home after a few weeks, looked up to the sky, and said "moon". We have never talked about the moon with him. I looked at their calendar and the previous week they talked about space. This summer they had a nature center come in with animals to show the students. Seeing pictures of my son touch a variety of animals and seeing him have the time of his life made my day. They also have designated "water play" days during the summer. We had to pay a fee ($25) for summer activities and it's been completely worth it. My son frequently comes home with things he's made in class.
- Community: For mothers day the center organized a day for moms (or dads) to come in and spend time with their child. The class put on a little show and they helped the kids create painted flower pots with their hands and feet used to create "flowers" and a butterfly. It was adorable. For fathers day, they had the dads (or moms) come in and they had ice pops, played yard games, got matching tattoos, and they helped the kids make "I ❤ dad" art work. They host other events on site throughout the year.
-Communication: They use an app that you can see when your child was checked in, checked out, and see photos throughout the day. They call when your child has a temperature that's a little high and they let you know when they're close to having to be sent home (so you can start to mentally, physically, and emotionally prepare). They also provide a daily activity sheet to tell you about your childs day. This includes what/how much they ate, diapers (how many and what they had), themed activities, centers, what book they read, how long they napped, this weeks theme, what they had fun doing today (usually an activity), and what was covered in circle time.
-Facilities/Cleanliness: Very clean facilities. Tables are clean in the morning (no crumbs from the previous day) and mats are rolled up and you can tell the floor was cleaned. There's a nice playground with a ton of things for the kids to play with and a lot of space to run around. My sons classroom is a good size and has designated areas for quiet time, play time, or eating. They also have community spaces where they can spend other parts of their day. It's nice for them to be able to leave the classroom on hot or rainy days and get a change of scenery.
Bonus: Squirt and his fishy friend. They have a pet turtle, Squirt, and a fish. The students that arrive early (which includes my son) love to watch them and see them get their breakfast in the morning.
If you're looking for a new daycare, I highly recommend "A Childs World".

Upper management does not work with parents on concerns or requests. Day care partially closed down 2weeks allegedly for an infant with COVID.(kids only) (I wish everyone well). They expect all the parents to pay for all that regardless. They say they follow CDC and OCDEL. When I questioned them on procedures and called them out on lies (following CDC) they expelled us.. Upper management is unethically. The have 0 integrity and only care about money. I respectfully stated my concerns and questions, they didn't like that I was right. GOOD LUCK!
