My mom has dementia and we were recommended to A Remedy Home Care. The staff answered all my questions and didn't leave any doubt that this was a great place for my mom to attend daily. I am so thankful for all the staff there because they treat my mom as if she is their mom. My mom talks about them and the center all the time. She was going 3 days a week at first, but she told she misses them on the days she doesn't go, so now she goes 5 days a week. The compassion and love they have is immeasurable and so glad we choose A Remedy Home Care for our needs of care.

Miranda and her team were absolute godsends for our family. Their flexibility in meeting our needs while caring for my mother was a blessing. Everyone who cared for my mother was professional, on-time every day, and attentive to her needs. My mother formed a bond with one caregiver, Jennifer, who treated her with the love, respect and care every visit. A Remedy Home Care provided compassionate care for all of us during a very difficult time. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants their loved ones to receive the best care during their illness.

A Remedy Home Care & Day Center is a Godsent for my Mother-in-law whom has severe Alzhemier’s. I’m so glad I found them! From the administrative staff to the caregivers that provide care for my MIL daily; I’m super stoked with the services offered and have nothing but AMAZING things to say about this company!! We have been through another Daycenter & HomeCare, after my MIL was neglected, unsafe & traumatized from Elite; I was skeptical to try another daycenter. I called and spoke with Miranda. I told her what I had experienced before; she assured me this would NOT happen at A Remedy. & sure enough it has NOT! Super thankful for A Remedy HomeCare & Daycenter! Thank y’all for being compassionate, caring and super helpful with people and families within the communities needs!

Truly a blessing! We went through a couple of providers which just did not work out, luckily I found A Remedy Home Care. My father, with dementia, was sleeping all day and awake all night. He stayed in his pajamas and was depressed. I wanted a special type of person that would motivate my Dad. The care I asked for was definitely unique, my Dad has been smiling ever since. I think the caregiver has to think of ways now to slow him down. We gained a very trustworthy companion with A Remedy Home Care. I highly recommend their services!

When we first had them come in they were excellent and the lady that they sent out was great she was prompt and always helpful. The next caregiver was constantly late and I did call to inquire if they were coming and was told that they would check and see it could have been anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 minutes late. Also his medications were found in the floor and on his shirt . I also called and reported it . Also no help was offered in the house as far as picking up dishes or emptying trash which is not a deal breaker. I was called several times that no one was available to come due to having call ins. I had one sitter that was 33 minutes late she told me she had to drive from Cowpens which is a 30 minute drive to me she left home at the time she was supposed to be here. So the straw that broke the camels back was the last sitter that they sent was 15 minutes late and agreed with my husband to stay until 6:30 pm my husband returned home at 6:20 she had already left. My father in law has vascular Dementia he can't be left alone . My husband called me at work and asked if I knew why she had left. I text with the agency and they apologized for her care . My father in law also said she had a man with her here he is confused so can't know for sure that it is true. Also he kept saying she left before dark. The agency said she clocked at 6:01. 29 minutes before what she agreed to. I spoke to Miranda and she said that they were going to educate her staff so this wouldn't happen again. I would not feel safe having them come into my home . I know that there is a careplan in place and it should be discussed with the caregivers before placing them in your home. I also understand that they have been short staffed and sent people in a pinch. Regardless not good caregiving.
