We have had our daughter at ABC Great Beginnings in West Jordan for about a year and they have been amazing. The Director was very willing to work with us on days and payments and the staff were great with our daughter and always made her feel welcome and cared for. They kept her engaged in learning for a lot of the day and would regularly send updates to the app so we, the parents, could see what they were doing during the day. I highly recommend ABC as a daycare!

This place needs to be evaluated, the felling of unwelcome, deception, theft, backbiting, and thetning of others. out waying the prosperity of the neighborhood and town. with the sacrifices of prosperity in and of are nation. has turned me away from being a father and or a protector and or provider. I refuse to participate in the promotion of the expectation.

Staffing shortages are making for complete chaos.
Long time teachers are leaving (Goodbye, mis Alex), the new ones care and make a good attempt, buy lack the support to succeed. My experience is for an 3 year old in the 3-4y group.
1. Teachers are expected to clean their rooms and bathrooms while caring for max (and sometimes higher) legal ratios alone. They don't have time to provide care and clean. The floors and tables are constantly filthy. The rooms stink. Th classroom bathrooms are worse. The one regular daily room had a backed up toilet full of feces for over 6 weeks. Toys in the room do not get cleaned often, if ever. They're old, mostly broken, and dirty. Management has been adding some new ones, but the lack of resources to maintain them is a big problem.
2. Kids who are not fully potty trained make lots of messes. My kid's spoiled pants and underwear were left abandoned on the floor in the only working bathroom on several occasions. Both times, I had to go looking for them and bag them myself when I arrived for pickup.
3. The chaos level is high. Several mornings I immediately took my son home because the kids were literally climbing the walls, screaming, crying, being ignored, and the room was a complete messy food and dirt covered disaster with no regular staff. The temp staff tend to be extremely passive are not up to this level of chaos wrangling. The regular staff are better, but they can only do so much. If your kid doesn't do well with loud chaos, it's going to be a bad fit.
4. They don't write reports for minor injuries and hitting/bullying incidents. They might tell you about it, but not typically.
5. They don't adequately support their better teachers doing more than the bare minimum. This means they lose the talent they need to keep things under control. And the teachers are too busy with basics to offer any real preschool "teaching". Even something as simple as making sure kids wear their sun hat or sunblock for their hours outside is too difficult, given the ratios and setup.
One star for the kitchen staff (Stacy) and Miss Hunter busting their butts to make things work as well as they can. It's just pushing water up a mountain.

I love this location! My boys school age and toddler both go here. My youngest has learned so much since he started just a few months ago. There is an app to follow along their day. The routine is amazing for my children and all the staff is so helpful and friendly. The director is amazing and helpful with anything you need, if you are trying to go through the state to get daycare she can help you with the process and get your kiddos in almost immediately. In the summertime the older kids gets to do summer camp and go fun places! I’m excited for my son! I really recommend ABC Great Beginnings in West Jordan. 💙
