Academy of Powell Place

My grandchildren attend the Academy of Powell Place, and it has been an amazing journey for them. They are so proud to be part of this wonderful environment. Every day, they call me to share stories about their activities, meals (the food must be incredible!), and the fun they have. What touches me most is how they unknowingly describe the ambiance—talking about the fish aquarium that warmly greets them, their amazing teachers, the toys they love, and even the director, Carla. As a grandmother, it brings me so much joy to see them feeling comfortable, connected, and excited about their day. Thank you, Powell Place, Director Carla, and every employee, for providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment. You’ve given me the gift of peace, knowing my grandchildren are in such good hands.

First of all, I want to thank Ms. Carla Gaines and her staff for 5 star service. My grandchild is so excited about attending the academy. She talks about her day to day activities all the time. I know it's going to be a sad day when she leaves to go to kindergarten. But until then she will embrace the kindness and love she receives everyday. Kudos to the leadership!!!

Our family loves Academy of Powell Place. Our daughter has attended for about a year now from 4 mo - 15 mo. The staff, even those who aren't her main teacher, know her by name and always make sure to greet us with a smile and great energy. In her infant days, she was cared for so sweetly, and now in her early toddler phase, it is evident she is learning all types of skills. The facility is clean and bright, and the classrooms are equipped with furniture, toys, etc. that are in good shape! Communication with management is frequent and engaging. Highly recommend!

We enrolled our son into this wonderful establishment last summer and it has been the best decision. From the tours, to date, our son has shown much improvement when it comes to his learning. The staff is very friendly, the building is always kept clean and safe, and if we have any worries, we know they’re only one call away. It gave us peace of mind knowing that their staff isn’t just working a 9-5, they are family!! We love Academy of Powell place , & you will too!

My little one and I love the Academy of Powell Place. She has been attending school here since she was six weeks old and she has grown so much and learned so much since then. Her teachers care for her over and beyond, and I couldn’t ask for better. The school, as a whole, is splendid! The director and assistant director, Michele and Autumn, are so awesome and transparent! I love the communication and always being informed on changes in my child’s class, with the weather, etc.They are on top of everything! Love, love, love this school!
