We started going to AAK in July. This is our first child and the experience has been great. The teachers are really nice. They have monthly themed schedules made with learning and art activities for the kids, even in the baby room. They use the ProCare up to send updates and photos throughout the day. They also have cameras that you can check in on. I would highly recommend.

This will be a long review but, the one review you will need to read if you’re considering taking your child here. To get straight to the point this daycare overcharged me and used the CCAP as an excuse of confusion in doing so. I’m a single, widowed, mother and need this program to help cover the costs of tuition. I had a set rate for a part time tuition (3 days) a week. This was communicated through the contract I signed with AAK and in the CCAP agreement, so that is the only days that were covered. i asked the daycare for a price breakdown for my records the week before my child was going to start. While reading the breakdown in my email, that I was told both administrators went over, I noticed discrepancies. I sent them both the CCAP certificate I had on file that showed them what was covered by the state & what I was responsible for paying & that they were charging me $35.00 extra a week. I asked them to please reach out so we could fix it. No response from either of them. So that next Monday I went up there to discuss it with them since they couldn’t bother to call or email me back. The assistant administrator refused to look at me and the head administrator acted like she was too busy to look up while I waited for her to complete what she was doing so we could discuss what they both knew I came up there for. I understand mistakes happen & wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but, being up there on solidified what I had already suspected. I was lied to as soon as she started discussing pay with me. She said it wasn’t discussed with her that I was only paying part time not the full time tuition. Which I had the assistant administrators email printed off stating they both went over the tuition costs and had the part time amount at the top. When I pointed this out to her she told me that the prices had went up… I said the prices went up in the span of a day or two & you didn’t discuss that with me? That was another flat out lie, which quickly dissipated. I then went over the CCAP paper with her and we started adding things up together. She told me that she had been working with CCAP for 20 years and yet here we were in her office pointing out how her breakdown of costs was completely wrong. By the end of it I was credited the 35 dollars I was owed, no apology or anything just her changing the subject. I also told her that this would be the 10 day notice required to unenroll my child from their daycare. It’s unbelievable that my child hadn’t started and I already couldn’t trust this daycare simply based off of the administration. There is absolutely no excuse for this level of unprofessionalism.
Side note this has nothing to do with the actual staff watching the children they all seem very nice and do their jobs very well.

Being a first time Mom of a 2.5 year old who has never had to go to daycare, I couldn’t be happier so far with my experience transitioning to out of home care at AAK. My favorite feature is the live camera and daily reports. I love being able to check on him and reference his daily schedule like how long his nap lasted, or whether he ate some or all of his lunch or snack. For me, it was also important to have a school that allowed flexible drop off and pick up times. We love that his teachers love him and that all of the front office ladies know and greet him by name. If somehow the fingerprint check in and out system failed, I feel confident he would still be safe by recognition. Highly recommend this facility.

As a first time mom who had to go back to work I really appreciate the caring, friendly staff at All About Kids and the options they have for me to check on my son during the day. The live viewing option of his room lets me see him when I get a break at work and the daily report is so handy to keep tabs on all the little things like naps and bottles and diapers. I'm so glad to hear he's had a good day and that everyone who comes into contact with him here wants the best for him. I highly recommend!
