My 2.5 year old toddler has been at AADA for six months now and my infant will be starting next week. We have had a great experience at the school! My daughter clearly loves her teachers and friends at school. When I drop her off she runs in and doesnāt even stop to say goodbye to me on her own accord! Based on the lessons plans I have seen, and pictures that are shared (and messy clothes :) ) they play hard and have so much fun with many different very intentionally planned activities. I also very much appreciate the organic food served and nontoxic cleaning products used. I feel very confident having my kids grow up at this school. Thanks AADA!

I feel the need to warn parents about An Apple a Day Academy. Iāll do my best to be brief and summarize two main issues:
INFECTION CONTROL: My husband walked in on a teacher kissing our 4-month old child on the face, knowing he had a fever (that is why he was being picked up in the middle of the day). When we consulted administration, they did not admit any fault.
LOGISTICS: A) For the infant class, the cost of tuition only covers 7.5 hours. Paying for aftercare would be another $220 a month. After doing some research, we found another daycare that was $25 less per week compared to what we paid WITHOUT aftercare and this covered 7am-6pm at a beautiful and exceptionally well-run facility ($100 in savings per month, $360 in savings compared to the price with aftercare). B) Apple a Day closes operations for an excessive amount of āholidaysā and has at least 1-2 days per month where they close at 2pm on a Friday. Our new daycare only takes off for actual federal holidays.
Our new daycare sends us about 20 pictures per day of my son smiling and doing incredible sensory/ educational activities. The pictures I used to get at Apple a Day were odd, and now reflecting back, many were red flags. My son was so under-stimulated that he would nap for 3 hours straight, and they wouldnāt wake him for feedings. I would pick him up after a full day, and he had less than 10 oz of breastmilk.
I know waiting lists are long and many are desperate to enroll their children wherever they can, but I would not recommend An Apple a Day Academy. Please stay away.

Both my children have attended AADA and have absolutely loved it! My first born started at 9 months old and I have never felt more at ease as a first time mom leaving her baby to go back to work. They were communicative and were so kind even when I called 150 times a day in the first week. When it was time for my second child to attend AADA he was so comfortable with everyone there already. When he had severe separation issues, they made sure to work with me and come up with a solution that made me feel better as well as my child. He now RUNS in and doesnāt even turn to say bye because heās so excited to go to his classroom. The director, Jen, is absolutely amazing - she is kind, supportive and truly helpful. I have leaned on her countless times for help and solutions to issues that my toddlers may be having. She truly cares about AADA and making it even greater in the future! She works so hard to get parents involved and Teachers feel supported by creating a Parent - Teacher Connection group where parents and staff can be even more involved and the students can participate in hands on experiences like Jungle Gardens and Mote Marine. The entire staff has been amazing! My family feels truly blessed to have found a school that our children love, is organic, affordable, and truly cares! Thank you AADA! We love you!

To whom it may concern,
Iām piggy backing off my wifeās review and your reply. I first would like to start off with stating how unprofessional it is putting my personal financial situation out to the public. I was laid off from my job due to budget cuts not my own performance. I found a new job in less then two weeks and our financial situation was never impacted. And then to use it against me saying that thatās why I pulled my child out of your facility. I told you about my situation in confidence and to let you know that my new job would not align with the location of your facility. If anyone should be getting let go it should be the teacher spreading germs from one child to another. The reason we left was do to that reason. that I witnessed one of your teacher kissing my child. Your facility might not think itās a big deal and āyouāre going to continue to do itā but this day and age people are not comfortable with anyone outside of family kissing their children . I would also like to mention that another mother pulled her child from the infant class because she had concerns how the facility operated.
I would also like to state that the lack of stimulation that my child received. Any picture I got was just him laying on his back and not playing with anything new.
The lack of care and stimulation this facility does is seriously sad. The childrenās deserve way more especially the infants. This is a very important time for their brain development

We have been extremely happy with our son's experience at Apple a Day Academy. Approaching his third birthday, he has spent over a year here, and we can't help but share our positive reviews. Every day, we have complete peace of mind knowing that he is receiving great care in a nurturing environment and it helps to see him so excited to go each day.
Overall the staff has been incredibly welcoming and responsive, promptly addressing any questions with professionalism and efficiency. We also feel incredibly fortunate to have had the same teacher for the majority of his time here, making transitions between age groups smooth. Her warmth, kindness, and open communication have been invaluable to us.
We particularly appreciate the daily updates, complete with pictures showing the activities the children are involved in. The meals served have also been a pleasant surprise, broadening our son's palate. It has also taken the "what will I pack for him today" away, which we know as Mom's is a BIG relief.
In an industry where turnover is often high, we are impressed by the stability of the staff at AADA. This speaks volumes about the supportive environment fostered by the leadership and owners. It's evident that everyone is committed to the shared goal of providing exceptional care, and this dedication shines through in every aspect of their work.
To any parent seeking childcare, I would absolutely recommend AADA as our experiences have been nothing but positiveš
