Atlas Immersion Academy- Northeast

Our son has been attending Atlas NE for the past eight months, starting when he was 18 months old. As English-speaking parents, we’ve always dreamed of giving him the gift of Spanish during this early “critical period” for language learning—so finding a daycare that integrated Spanish was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up. We first toured Atlas NE with some hesitation about leaving our nanny share, but the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such genuine warmth and kindness that our concerns quickly faded. That warmth wasn’t just a first impression- it has only grown and is the heartbeat of this daycare. Atlas NE is a place where children are deeply cared for, and where families are invited into a shared experience. You can feel it in the little things—like when teachers attend a child’s birthday party outside of work hours, simply because they care. The curriculum is intentional and developmentally grounded, with a strong emphasis on cultural diversity and inclusion. From potlucks to cultural celebrations, families are welcomed into a truly vibrant and connected community. We have been able to easily make friends with other parents, it has been a great place to be. It feels as if we now have 10 aunties that dote over our son and make sure he is happy and has exactly what he needs. Atlas NE is a special place, and we feel incredibly lucky to be a part of it.

The teachers are remarkable. It is so clear that they love and care for these kids, as if they were their own. There’s always extra efforts, made to involve the parents and ensure that we are with them in spirit, even if we’re not in physical space with them throughout the day. This is my last year with my older daughter at atlas, and I am very sad at the idea of leaving, I would recommend them to absolutely anybody and consider myself Very lucky to have found such an incredible group of educators, who believe that care, Comfort, and love are essential to a good education.

We have absolutely loved having our son at Atlas! He started when he was 2 and has been attending for over a year now. We know he has teachers who genuinely care about him which makes a world of difference to our whole family. Highly recommend this location!

I cannot say enough good things about this location or their team! We first enrolled in a different location but it wasn’t a good fit so they transferred us over to NE and it’s been a wonderful experience for my son. He loves his teachers and they are genuinely excited to see him everyday. His spanish vocabulary has grown so much in the past 4 months and they have adjusted their menu to accommodate his dietary restrictions.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Atlas! The teachers are amazing, the curriculum has been so developmentally stimulating (our son comes home every day talking about what he did at school—which he never did at his previous school!), and we love how clear and consistent the communication is (the photos throughout the day is a treat too).
