We had a very concerning experience at Atlas Immersion Academy that I feel obligated to share. Our daughter, attended this center, and while we hoped it would be a safe and supportive environment, we encountered multiple issues—most notably a serious mistake in feeding procedures. First, there were early signs of disorganization. Despite clearly indicating that our daughter should only receive lunch, she was regularly given breakfast and snacks as well. We let this go, assuming it was a simple oversight. However, the more serious issue was the inconsistency in feeding. As a breastfed infant, she needs to eat every 2.5 to 3 hours. On several occasions, she went over 4 hours without a bottle. When I brought this up, I was told it was a one-time error because her schedule wasn’t written down-but it happened more than once. The most alarming incident occurred on April 21. When I arrived for pickup, I overheard a staff member say, “Oh, that’s not (daughter's) milk,” while feeding her. I saw my daughter being fed from another child’s bottle. When I asked what she had been given—formula or breastmilk—I was told the staff member didn’t speak English and couldn’t answer. I tried to find a manager, but no one was available, so I took her home. That evening, she was extremely fussy and had stomach issues - likely due to being given formula for the first time, or worse, another child’s breast milk. This is an incredibly serious health and safety concern, especially considering risks such as unknown dietary sensitivities, medications, and illness. I immediately contacted the school by phone as soon as I left the building. I called twice, no answer. I then messaged the admins saying I needed an immediate call back. Naybeth called and said she would call the school and call me back asap. I was promised a follow-up call that never came. The next morning, I was told by her that they weren’t sure how to handle the situation and would escalate it - again, leaving me with more questions than answers. It took me emailing the operations manager for all of Atlas locations to get some answers. I’m sharing this because as a parent, I would want to know. This kind of error is not just a “mistake”- it’s a violation of trust and basic safety. Bottles are labeled, stored in separate bins, and are clearly different in size and type. I have to wonder if this has happened before without parents being aware. We ultimately decided to leave the program, and I cannot recommend Atlas to other families based on our experience. I sincerely hope the school addresses these issues with the seriousness they deserve and implements safeguards to prevent this from ever happening again.

After touring many daycares in the area, we are so thrilled to have chosen Atlas for our baby. As many parents can understand, I was so nervous to start our 3 month old in daycare when we went back to work, but Atlas made it as seamless as possible. Teacher Esperanza and Marielos in the infant room are kind, warm, and truly love the babies. Our new teacher Maritza and her assistant Sarai are also phenomenal. I am so appreciative of the warmth and individualized care my baby receives, not to mention the actual curriculum he is a part of. As I walk through the halls, I am often smiled at by other employees/teachers who know my child (such as Erica). It is a very warm environment, which I appreciate. The Director (Naybeth) knows me and my child by name, and Yessica always greets us with a genuine smile. Admin always makes time for any questions I have (both in-person or through messaging on the app). As someone who previously worked in childcare management, I am impressed with their dedication to consistent and wholesome care for my child and the other kids in his class. The people here really seem to care about the kids and the overall environment in their classrooms. My 11 month old smiles as we enter his classroom and sees his teachers every single morning, and that means the world to us.

We had a great experience at this school. Our baby started at 6 months. The teachers and staff are wonderful and made us feel secure and comfortable with the process. Specially teacher Esperanza who is nurturing and loving and takes really good care of all the babies. She was very engaged in our babies development. As new parents we felt at ease and knew our baby was in great hands. The director Naybeth and assistant Yessica are also really helpful and are very involved.

My daughter has been at Atlas for a little over a year and I am so grateful for the community that we have here. We have felt extremely welcome since day one. My little one runs to the teachers with a big smile almost every day. They go above and beyond in the care that they provide for my child, and everyone is always so kind. They show appreciation for so many different cultures and they do a really good job of reaching out to learn more about the families in the school. I've learned so many new cultural celebrations since being here. The newsletters are always so informative and the evening cultural events like the festivals, cooking classes and even the conscious discipline classes are the icing on the cake. We love Atlas and have no desire to leave any time soon.

The staff at Atlas has been amazing. Our kids love their teachers and are learning so much. The staff has supported our scheduling needs and take excellent care of our children. It is important to me that the people taking care of my children are also taken care of. To my knowledge, the staff at Atlas is paid a competitive wage and has good benefits. They regularly attend staff training days and retreats allowing them to continue to provide engaging care and education to our children.
