This Booker Street center is mainly for the older 3 - 5 year olds (including state funded Pre-K program). My child goes here and I can tell you that the teachers are caring to the children and parents too. I can’t forget this experience I had: went to drop off my child in the morning; it was cold and I was in a hurry to get back home to tidy a few things before leaving for the day. I had worn a jacket but didn’t wear cover shoes - my toes were exposed. I just wore flip-flops after all, I’ll be driving and it was a quick drop off and will be back home. One of the teachers, Ms. R told me that I needed to wear shoes cos it’s really chilly and she wouldn’t want me to catch a cold. I appreciated her concern and thanked her, and ever since that day, I always cover my feet wherever it’s cold lol. As parents, sometimes we need to be reminded to take care of ourselves too. My child learns a lot and tells me about the learning experiences. The teachers are amazing at what they do. From my experience, I can say that this school is an embodiment of concern, care, love, learning and academic excellence.
