Our two sons are enrolled at Auntie Sahar's Daycare. Our older son (2.5 years) has been going there since he turned 4 months old, and our younger son (5.5 months) has been going there for the past two months. We could not have asked for a better experience for our children. Sahar and Maryam are both kind and professional, and they have provided a beautiful, clean, nurturing, and educational environment for all of the kids. These characteristics have been especially evident and important during this year's pandemic, where a safe and educational environment has been more important than ever before. We are genuinely happy to be able to send our children to this daycare. In fact, after my wife graduated from Stanford earlier this Summer, we move to a house a few blocks away from Auntie Sahar's Daycare in Redwood City, mainly because we wanted both of our sons to attend this daycare. Everyday the kids have the opportunity to engage in age-appropriate activities, play together, read books, build little projects, draw, or just run around and play in the backyard on sunny days. Sahar and Maryam pay individual attention to each child and we receive many daily photos and updates, which helps us keep in touch with the kids while working. They clearly love the kids and love what they do, which means that they are always happy to engage with the parents or teach the kids. The bilingual nature of the daycare has also been important to us. My wife speaks French to our boys, and I speak Persian with them. We have asked Sahar and Maryam to also speak Persian with the boys, which has meant that our older son is quite fluent in this language now, in addition to speaking a lot of English and French. I can go on to list many other ways in which we have benefited from our experience of sending our boys there, but it may be best for you to contact them directly to find out for yourselves.

We love Auntie Sahar. Our son began coming here at the age of 2 and he's now almost 3.5. He loves it here...it's like a second home to him. Auntie Sahar and her childcare assistants are great. We're so impressed by how much our child has learned here. Auntie Sahar is a saint and has a special way with kids. She truly loves all the kids and takes great pride in her work. This is not just childcare, it's also a place for learning. They're constantly doing fun projects and our son comes homes with some type of art work almost everyday.

We wanted to do a small in-home day care when looking for our 5 month old and Auntie Sahar's was by far the cleanest and most organized out of all the ones we saw. It's been a year with Sahar and we've appreciated the hands on care our child receives by her and her mom. Sahar is very responsive, shares multiple pics throughout the week, updates, feedback on milk/food intake, naps, diapers, provides tips or advice as needed, and is always friendly. Sometimes you'll get crafts, artwork from the day's activities, food to try, and gifts. They even do get together with families outside of daycare hours, if that's your thing. Once transitioning to solids, we worked together on how much milk to bring vs solids, what solids, etc. Note that you must bring your own food for your child. As a first time parent, the most important thing we wanted was that our baby would be safe, especially since they cannot vocalize concerns like a toddler.

Our daughter has been going to Auntie Sahar’s since she was 7 months old. She loves going there and sometimes doesn’t want to leave! She talks about her friends there and the 2 caregivers all the time when she’s at home. A couple things I liked much more about Sahar’s daycare vs other ones I interviewed and toured was that there are 2 caregivers there all day (Sahar and her mom) and that they have a few more structured activities every day for the toddlers like crafts and dancing. Sahar often sends texts to us with pictures or videos of our daughter. They teach the kids numbers and colors and shapes, etc. which I think had helped enforce my daughter’s learning. Overall we’re very happy with our experience with Auntie Sahar’s and would definitely recommend the daycare to our friends!

We love Auntie Sahar’s Daycare! Our son started when he was 16 months old and quickly adjusted to Sahar’s home and loving care. He loves the toys and all the indoor AND outdoor activities, and we love all the wonderful artwork/ crafts he brings home. It’s a sweet home daycare you can trust, and know that you’re child is in great hands. And Sahar is great about sharing updates / pictures throughout the day and week. It always brightens my day to see my little one having so much fun.
