Balanced Family Academy of Clintonville

Our 17-month-old son goes to BFA two days a week and has been attending for 3 months. We have been beyond thrilled with our experience at Balanced Family Academy Clintonville. The staff at BFA is truly exceptional. They are not only friendly and approachable but also incredibly skilled and dedicated to creating a positive, supportive atmosphere for the children. Every teacher is attentive, patient, and genuinely interested in the development of each child. It's such a relief knowing that our little one is in the hands of people who truly care about his well-being. They go above and beyond to send us updates about our son’s day and respond to messages quickly, which we really appreciate. The educational programming at BFA is top-notch. It’s clear that the staff puts a lot of thought and effort into creating fun, engaging, and enriching activities. We love seeing the photo updates of the activities they are doing and the goals behind them. Since starting at BFA, we have seen so much growth in our son. He has experienced an explosion in language development, going from knowing 20 words to now knowing 45. Just last week, he came home saying "knee" and "neigh." As for the food, it’s one of the highlights of the daycare! We were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of meals offered—nutritious, balanced, and always freshly prepared. I’m thankful that BFA is exposing our child to a variety of foods he would not normally eat at home. They also offer food and drink options for parents to purchase, which is such a great resource on busy days. The playground and multi-age rec room are amazing. Our son absolutely loves getting to play during the day, and we love that they have an indoor play area for when they can’t go outside. We are so grateful that our son is able to attend BFA. We have had such a wonderful experience and couldn’t recommend it more!

We’ve had the privilege of working with Balance Family Academy of Clintonville professionally — and I also trust them personally with the most important thing in my life: my child. From both perspectives, I can say without hesitation that this is a truly exceptional place. The Clintonville community is lucky to have BFAC. Courtney is an incredible leader who sets the tone for a safe, loving, and joyful environment. Every teacher we’ve encountered is caring, consistent, and a safe place. As a parent and a business owner, I would not recommend any other daycare more highly. BFA Clintonville has set the bar — and they’ve set it very, very high. The only thing I am sad about is the fact that my kiddo can’t go there forever.

Our family has had a wonderful experience with our two children at BFA Clintonville. Courtney, Rob and the admin team are extremely professional, organized, and friendly. Our kids have LOVED all their teachers. The curriculum is solid and they seem to be constantly doing unique activities (from Mr Jared’s nature activities to weekly yoga). It is a wonderful feeling to know each morning I am taking my kids somewhere they love to be.

The staff genuinely care about each child’s growth and well-being, and it shows in everything they do. We recommend BFA Clintonville to any family looking for a preschool that combines strong educational values with a loving, community-centered approach. It’s been a wonderful foundation for our daughter’s early learning journey!

BFA Clintonville has been such a wonderful, welcoming and supportive environment for my daughter and for myself and my husband as parents. The saying is it takes a village to raise a child and BFAC has certain become a part of our village. Our daughter’s teachers are nothing short of amazing and the Administration Team is great at communicating and helping plan events that makes us feel like part of the BFAC community. From the weekly themed curriculum to the daily meals I so appreciate that I can trust BFAC to take care of my daughter while she’s at school and know that she is having so much fun. I cannot recommend BFAC enough if you’re looking for part time or full time childcare.
