Ballston Children's Center

Both my kiddos attended Ballston Children’s Center, and we had a wonderful experience. The teachers are caring and highly qualified, and both children were well-prepared for kindergarten. The school offers enriching activities like yoga and dance—my youngest especially loved the recitals. The front office is professional, responsive, and accommodating, making it easy for working parents to stay involved. It’s a warm, nurturing environment that’s both well-organized and well-rounded. My kiddos and I are sad to no longer be going there—we’ll truly miss it.

We have both of our children enrolled at BCC and truly couldn’t be happier. The curriculum, programming, and educators consistently exceed our expectations. From quarterly performances and art exhibits to theme weeks, parades, and cultural celebrations, the experiences they provide are enriching and thoughtful. Communication is always clear and thorough, and the staff’s attention to detail is outstanding. Our kids come home excited to share what they’ve learned and always are singing their teachers praises. The sense of community here is also something really special. When it’s time for our youngest to start pre-K, there’s no doubt—we’ll be right back at BCC.

BCC has made a big difference in my daughter's development. In just over 7 months she surprises us every day when she comes home from school and tells us enthusiastically about everything she has learned. The school has a team of extremely qualified and experienced professionals who offer diversified activities, always focusing on student learning and development in all cognitive, social, and emotional aspects. My husband and I noticed the evolution of our daughter, both in the polite, respectful, and affectionate way she establishes her communication, as well as in her cognitive performance, demonstrated by the comprehension, reading, and writing activities carried out at school. The team is also concerned with integrating the family and students into the school environment, inviting parents, whenever possible, to participate in activities together with their children, thus creating memories and affective bonds that the children carry throughout their lives. I recently highlighted the yoga class, where parents were able to share healthy and fun moments with their children. Another moment of great satisfaction was the creation of cards for the celebration of Valentine's Day. In this activity, my daughter was able to write the names of all her friends on individual cards made by her, as well as being able to read each name she had written. Too beautiful! Thank you BCC team. The Ballston Children's Center is perfect for families who are concerned about the development and well-being of their children.

My two girls had two amazing years in Pre-K. They learned their numbers and the alphabet at a kindergarten level, which allowed my older daughter to skip kindergarten and go straight into first grade. Beyond the strong academics, the school helped them grow socially. They participated in many theatrical performances that most schools don’t offer, and through those, they learned to be more confident, expressive, and comfortable in front of an audience. They developed so many important skills — and they were genuinely happy to go to school every day. Alex, the vice director, was always kind, patient, and understanding, especially with any delays or situations I faced as a single mom. That support meant a lot. Thank you! We will miss you dearly!

We have had such an great experience at Ballston Children's Center. The program is jam-packed with educational activities our kids love, and they spend a lot of time on a large shaded playground. In fact, our son asked if he could go to school a couple of times over the weekend - which shows us that he really enjoys it there. We would like to commend the staff, both teachers and administrators, on their excellent work. We highly recommend Ballston Children's Center!
