Barbara’s Bright Beginnings

My children have been cared for by the staff a Barbara’s Bright beginning a for a long time. Pamelia specifically worked with my toddler with eating and working more independently with meals and toileting. From her working with my daughter she was very advanced at an early age. My children always felt safe with the staff, and staff always cared for my children as if they were their own. And this is all I could ask for when considering childcare.

My experience here was very short lived. I was hesitant going in initially but I didn’t have much of a choice. I was paying 275/week all for my son to come home crying and starving daily & running through all his clothes. They tried to convince me that my almost 2 year old wasn’t potty trained when he was. How would he be able to take himself to the restroom if the toilets aren’t toddler height & he cannot reach the light switch? (Which I now know is a violation) This is nothing more than a ghetto home daycare inside of a bigger building. They grandma there says they’re there to watch you child and teaching them isn’t really prioritized, sadly. Picking up my kid one day I seen the light skin lady with glasses hit this baby’s girl head on the wall, that she was carrying around. This is a sad program and I get upset every time I ride by. But if you have no choice go for it.

I had my doubts about putting my son in a daycare that wasn’t close to me , but it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. My son was non verbal but I can honestly say that from the first week of his attendance I saw a very big difference in him trying to mimic different sounds and him putting forth effort to talk. I love that Ms.Barbara the owner was very Patient with me even through the application process. She made me feel like I wasn’t just dropping my children off to total strangers but to family. As of now I still feel like the staff is supportive of any of my concerns and feelings that I have and are able to address them in a proper and professional manner. If you are looking for a new childcare home Barbara’s Bright Beginnings is a must.

Barbara is an amazing teacher she has the knowledge of caring for children she is very patient and loving. Pam is amazing with the babies very patient and nurturing. I am so glad that she open up so our families can have childcare in the community and her hours of business is early and convenient

My 10month just started at this daycare and it is amazing. I love the staff they are all kind and the infant teacher she is a sweetheart she is really nice and gentle with the babies. I can say i trust this daycare with my childs life lol♥️ . If you want to enroll your child here, they will definitely be in good care.
