Bell's School for people under six

Words can't express how grateful I am to have found this school. When my daughter started she was 4, and was in a classroom with 15 other kids. While there was 2 teachers for the class she struggled because she did not regularly get her own attention and there was always noise and not a calm atmosphere for her to concentrate in. Bells school has a way lower kid/teacher ratio and has always been that way for a reason.I've seen great results from my daughter being there and it really feels like I am dropping her off with family every time. Highly recommend Bells school for any child to get the attention each child deserves while young and at school away from their parents.

❤️My almost-4-year-old loves Bell's School! The staff is well-educated, very dedicated, and love to see each and every child achieve his or her own potential, at their own pace. The school is philosophy-driven, and the owners have been in the Early Childhood Education business for 47 years. I highly recommend this school to ANYONE with children ages 2-6; you absolutely cannot find better care in Asheville or the surrounding area. Any time I arrive to school for drop-off or pick my child up, the kids are always playing so well with each other, and everyone seems to truly enjoy it. Leo has really grown out of his shyness since he started the school, and he is always talking about his "friends," even the ones in other classes. And you can't beat the class sizes - it's amazing!

This is an wonderful preschool! These teachers are loving, compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely care about the needs of EVERY child. They build strong and loving relationships with their students. As a kindergarten teacher myself, I know the research that backs building strong relationships with children. When they love their teachers they love to learn from them. Both of my children have attended Bell's school. I feel so thankful for these teachers and their love and devotion to their students. I wouldn't have my children go anywhere else! ❤ I would recommend them to anyone I know!

I have known Catherine for over 20 years and there's nobody I trust more for my daughter's early care and education than Bells school. Catherine sets an expectation for her staff and program that Bells school will meet the standards of high quality. This means she expects a lot of her staff. She expects them to reflect on their practices and give children every opportunity for meaningful play. This is not a place where you see teachers leaning up on fences watching children. It is a place where teachers are engaging or carefully standing back observing children's play. This is exactly why my four year old daughter will be starting there this fall.

My daughter has been attending Bell's School for the last two years. I researched daycares and educational facilities for young children for months before deciding on Bell's. Upon finding this school, I immediately felt comfortable with the level of care, attention, and focus on young developing minds education. In my opinion, they put a high level of focus on the kids and their parents needs; treating everyone with the upmost respect. I will be forever grateful for this school and what they have provided for my daughter!
