Bend Preschool

So, I’ve gotta share our experience with Bend Preschool because it’s been a game-changer for my kiddo. After coming from three other childcare places that promised all these great things but always ended up being letdowns, finding Bend has been such a relief. From day one, the vibe here felt just right. The teachers are super friendly and clearly love what they do. It’s like they’ve got a magical way with kids! The curriculum is really cool. They mix play with learning, which keeps things fun and engaging. My child comes home excited every day, telling me about the new songs they've sung or the cool art projects they’ve done. It’s great to see them so jazzed about learning! The place itself is clean, safe, and has loads of awesome stuff for the kiddos to play with. They have an outdoor space that’s perfect for some good old-fashioned running around. It feels like my kid is getting exercise and social time all at once. What I really like is how they focus on helping the kids get along with each other. They teach them how to share and play nicely, which is so important. I’ve noticed my little one is making a lot of friends and learning to navigate those little conflicts that come up. Plus, the community feel here is great. The staff really keeps us parents in the loop, and there are fun events that bring everyone together. It feels like we’re all part of something special. Honestly, after all the letdowns we've faced, being in a place where you can actually see the product you were sold is the best feeling in the world for a parent. All in all, I couldn’t be happier with Bend Preschool. It’s a fantastic place where my child is not only learning but also growing socially and emotionally. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a preschool that really cares!

I think this school deserves much higher marks than it has here in Google. There must've been a transition around 2021-2022 because a lot of the low-star reviews are from that time. My son went to Bend Preschool from Fall 2022 to Fall 2024, and we had a wonderful experience. He was 3 when he started, and this was the only school we could get him into full-time when we moved here. We lucked out! Ms. Lindsay was the manager when we joined, and she was there the whole time. She was very involved in providing care for the kids (not just managing things from the office). Turnover was minimal; we had the same 5-6 teachers in the building almost the entire time. They were all very kind and conscientious. The school felt safe, fun, educational, and loving towards the kids. They provided all meals, helped our son practice using the bathroom on his own, and supported his learning. He was well prepared for kindergarten and was sad to leave his friends and teachers when it was time to move on. I highly recommend Bend Preschool!

Toured the pilot butte location and it was sketchy. Had a bad feeling. Would never leave my kids there. Not to mention they canceled on me day of the original tour date because of a broken phone and did not receive a follow up from them until a week later.

My child has been at Bend Preschool for over a year. In that time not only has she grown socially, her speech, language and problem solving skills has improved! She has grown into such a great young lady! She has become stronger and well rounded in advocating for herself too and it's not just sass :) she comes home excited to tell me about her day and the things she has learned! Being a single mom she has been 3 different facilities in her life. No provider has given more to her. She's able to run around and play while still learn structure and become prepared for kindergarten this year! Ruth and Russ have built an amazing atmosphere where teachers and students aren't just that, they become friends and even more family. The support for the children and parents alike shows through in everything they do! They use an app to which I get pictures throughout the day, updates on her eating and they let me know what they are focusing on. Finding this facility when I did was a blessing to my work schedule, but quickly became a blessing to my family! I cannot wait till my youngest becomes of age so she can experience the magic that is Bend Preschool!

Hey all! Just wanted to let you know, whether you are just moving to the area or have been in Central Oregon for awhile, this will be your best option in the childcare and preschool world. This will be my 3rd child that has gone here. My wife and I love the atmosphere and the staff is always helpful and super kind to my daughter. They have a great program that gives you updates and pictures throughout the day on how your child is doing. Everyday, I have complete confidence that my daughter is getting challenged to learn and grow. Highly recommend this place!
