I am so glad we found the Bethesda Reggio. Our son has been here since we was 10 months old and we have felt he is in great hands. Most importantly, the teachers are so incredibly warm, loving, and nurturing. The park and Spanish immersion are also a huge plus. While no daycare/preschool are perfect, if you want to know that your child will be loved while also learning and growing the Reggio is a wonderful place. Also the parent community is great! We often get to know each other while playing at the park after school and are very supportive of each other when we have concerns or need help with pick up, etc.

We have been here for 3 years and both of my sons love it here. The teachers are warm and caring, and the administrative staff always responsive to our concerns. We love how the park is used to teach and integrated into the curriculum, and not just have the children run around on the playground (although they do plenty of that too!). The school provides a nice balance of play-based learning while also ensuring they have a solid academic foundation. We have been excited to see our sons constantly challenged and continually learning, and huge plus that they are both fluent in Spanish.

Our family cannot say enough good things about Reggio. We are so lucky to have found such a great community and program. Our kids love it! Neither of them spoke any Spanish before joining and they both picked it up incredibly fast. The teachers and staff are all so great and their approach to learning and play is a perfect balance for these ages. The park serves an extension of the classroom and playground that most other preschools or daycares can’t compete with. The other families in the Reggio community are also an added perk. Our oldest is absolutely ready and excited for kindergarten this fall, but will always love Reggio and be excited to go back to pick up our youngest whenever they can.

Bethesda Reggio is the best! The teachers and administration are extremely warm and nurturing. The location is great with the park and playgrounds right outside the classroom. The curriculum is both fun and educational, and provides an excellent foundation for Spanish. Our older son recently graduated and was very well prepared for kindergarten.

Both of my sons attended preschool here (starting in January 2021 through the present). The main things that set the school apart for me are (1) the genuine warmth and care for each child, and the nurturing environment created by all of the incredible teachers and staff, (2) the wonderful, extensive outdoor park and amount of outdoor exploration and learning the children have during the day, (3) a large indoor space with lots of natural light that the children have for their indoor class/learning time, and (4) of course, the Spanish immersion and Reggio curriculum. My older son graduated from Reggio with incredible relationships with his teachers and fellow students, a solid foundation in Spanish (conversational), and a firm foundation to excel in kindergarten (despite being one of the younger kids in his class). My youngest, currently at Bethesda Reggio, loves his school friends and teachers and asked me the other day why he can’t live at the school? (LOL). The parent community is also wonderful. While the school isn’t close for us (20 minutes each way), absolutely worth the commute to have this wonderful learning and growing environment for our sons.
