Back when my kids attended here we didn't have internet reviews. After reading some of the fake and horrible reviews, I feel obligated now to provide feedback even though my experience here happened a long time ago. What really strikes me, however, is that even after my boys grew up, they remember this place fondly, and the staff here also remembers my boys! Do you realize how special and rare it is when staff sticks around long enough to see your kids grow? They aren't just providers, they are family.
When the kids were little, staff showed up for b-day parties (Judy - is she still there?). Some even volunteered to babysit. Teachers knew me by name and welcomed me in. There were days my kids didn't want to go home.
Yeah, your child is precious and even the smallest of issues feel like the entire world is going to explode. But, they're kids. Getting into trouble is their job. Ease up on the hostile reviews, okay? It doesn't get better. As a parent of a 22 year old and 19 year old I can tell you now, take a chill pill and appreciate that someone here is willing to do the hard work of parenting while you're at your desk job. Peace!

My daughter started here when she was 3 months old and is just about 6 months old now. Her teachers are just wonderful and so sweet. They are communicative regarding her days, successes and struggles. My daughter lights up when she sees her teachers and I can tell they genuinely care for her and love her. I watch her on the cameras all throughout the day and see her engaging in solo play as well as interacting with the staff and other babies. Very appreciative for the experience we have had so far.

ABUSIVE STAFF!! MY DAUGHTER WAS ABUSED HERE BACK IN 2018. THEY GRABBED HER ARM LEAVING A BRUISE AND REFUSED TO ALLOW HER TO EAT HER OWN LUNCH OR DRINK WATER. I REPORTED TO THEM TO WASHOE COUNTY POLICE. WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS. THE REVIEWS SAY IT ALL. WHO WOULD WANT TO BRING THEIR CHILD TO A DAYCARE WITH 3.6 STARS??? THEY ARE HORRIBLE! DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THEM SAFE PLEASE!

I caution anyone planning to use this location for infant daycare. The infant room has 12 children, which causes it to be a chaotic and incredibly noisy environment. While the staff and management were kind, it is clear management has not invested the necessary resources to ensure their infants are cared for in the way they promise. In the month my six-month-old was at this location, she came home with dried-on poopie diapers on five occasions, and she was left to sleep in a bouncer. The staff also failed to contact us when she refused to eat for more than half the day. In addition, despite claiming to follow her schedule, she was regularly fed and put down for naps well outside the times we shared were her normal routine. On the day we removed her from the daycare, she had been awake for nearly 5 hours before being put down for a nap, and when I arrived home, her diaper was completely soiled and dried on.

Blue Kangaroo on Summit are some of the nicest, sweetest most genuine teachers and staff. They care about the children, and are very understanding. My child just partook in the pre-k graduation ceremony and I’m sad he’s moving on from this wonderful learning center. But they’ve prepared him very well for kindergarten. I’m so glad he was able to be a part of their daycare/pre-k for the last couple years.
