My son is 10 months old and he is an active baby. He was born 2 months early and would spit up all the time. Daddy works and mommy stays home with him, we don’t have family or friends to watch him and the wife needs a break. We got him set up for 2 days a week and on the first day he was there the wife gets a call to pick him up. She was told he threw up and it was a concern for them. Kids spit up or throw up and we parents clean it, but a silly excuse for them to send him home early is telling me a lot about the professionals are not that good. If you’re baby sits still and doesn’t move they will love you there, if the baby is active and moving they find ways to send them home. I’m just a dad paying $220 a week for this, my wife can make the decision to find another place or keep him home or if they want him still. Edited on 7-3-25
My child did well on the second day and even better my wife didn’t get a phone call about any problems. Good place.

My children are 5 years old and have been cared for and educated at Blue Kangaroo since they were 6 months old. My experience with Blue Kangaroo has been great and my children love going to school as they call it. All of the teachers for my children have been fabulous, they have attended every class at Blue Kangaroo. The management team is also great, friendly and professional. I highly recommend Blue Kangaroo.

Our children have been attending Blue Kangaroo since our oldest was 2 years old, our second was 9 months, and our third was 8 weeks. Like most parents, I was nervous to put them in a formal daycare setting since they had only been with close friends or family to that point, but we needed more consistent structure and reliability of care for our jobs. Between our 3 children, we have had a child in every classroom at some point, and we couldn't have chosen a better center to fit the needs of our family.
Although there is some turnover with staff in the classroom (which is to be expected with any business), the core of the staff has been more or less the same since we have joined the family (6 years now), and they all genuinely want to be there and love caring for all the children in attendance! The BK team has been with us through many milestones in our kids' lives, including sleep training, trying their first foods, first steps, potty training, sharing, learning the alphabet, writing, counting, etc. They really are invested in the kids and have become like family to us!
The actual facility is so clean, never smells weird, doesn't feel cramped, and the staff goes above and beyond to decorate for each season/holiday, plan fun events for the kids (and sometimes families) to participate in. I toured several facilities in town when we were first looking to enroll somewhere, and was surprised at how unkept some other centers were. The front area and hallway leading to the classrooms is always warm and inviting, and the kids absolutely love seeing the decorations change throughout the year. I also love that you're always greeted by a friendly & familiar face when you're coming in or heading out.
The classrooms are also very thoughtfully set up for the developmental needs of the age group (height appropriate chairs & tables, sensory play items, locked cabinets, easy to reach cubbies, cribs vs. sleep cots, inside play equipment, creative play options, etc). The playground is split so the younger children are separated from the older ones, and the classes all take turns being outside so that everyone has time that is safe and the playground isn't inundated with too many kids at once.
Whenever we have had any issues, I have always felt comfortable bringing them up to the admin team, and we have been able to work together easily to come up with solutions that are in the best interest of the children. I have always felt heard and understood on all levels, from the classroom lead teachers, the front desk team, the management team, and owners for what's best for my children. I love how easy they are to communicate with and their willingness to be transparent with parents.
We are so happy to have found Blue Kangaroo & are so appreciative of all the hard work they continue to do. It's not easy to be with children all day, every day, but they love and care for our kids as if they were their own. We couldn't be happier & we love our BK fam!

My son has been attending Blue Kangaroo since he was three months old! He is now 2.5 and I am very pleased with the care he receives. It is very challenging and a big adjustment to introduce your infant to daycare, but Blue Kangaroo was very supportive and empathetic along the way. There have been moments where I may have disagreed with a process, and I appreciate that the leadership is willing to address this and discuss my view points professionally. As a first time mom, I couldn't imagine not having cameras to observe my son at school, especially in the early days of daycare. I also appreciate how clean the facility is and how friendly the staff is! It is a testament to the leadership to see teachers with 10+ years of tenure at this facility. We love Blue Kangaroo!

I love this Blue Kangaroo. My oldest went to this daycare and now my youngest. He has been there since he was 7 months old. The staff know my name and my son’s name. They do all kinds of activities for the holidays etc. my sons love going here. They still remember my oldest son’s name even though it’s been 2 years since he went to this daycare. I work in Sparks and won’t move to Sparks due to me wanting to have my son in this daycare. Bring your kids here. They are amazing!
