Bright Beginning Children's Learning Center

Excellent learning center! My family has had a child here since 2018. The staff is caring and attentive and have excellent communication. My children are always well cared for. They love learning and playing here and have established wonderful friendships with other children. When it was time for my oldest to go on to kindergarten, he was well prepared. I can't say enough great thing about this place.

We love this school! Our daughter has been there for a year and a half and has grown so much. She can take a while to warm up to new people and new places, and all of the staff at BBCLC have been so patient with her. Many of them have gone above and beyond to connect with her and give her extra attention, which we really appreciate as parents. It’s very clear that the staff care deeply about all of the kids. We’re so lucky to have this little gem in our neighborhood!

Bright Beginning in Crownsville is the most amazing preschool in the area. We truly struck a pot of gold being able to send both of our children there from ages 2-5. The staff turnover rate is very low- that alone speaks volumes. They genuinely love the children, and leaving them to be the ones caring for my kids while I’m at work was never difficult. They are so communicative to families and post daily photos for parents to see throughout the day. They go out of their way to plan fun activities for the children. I recommend BBCLC 20 out of 10 to anyone in the area looking for preschool-aged childcare. ❤️

Do not send your children here. Extremely high turnover rate for the teachers. Most of the teachers we have liked have left… since my daughter started in April 3 teachers have left. My oldest son attended the Crownsville location for three years and we’ve experienced many mood swings from the director, Whitney. You never know how she will react or respond. I do not trust her. The director, CEO, and Owner are all friends. They will turn on you at any given moment. The prices keep going up. And less and less effort is put in from the staff. On a regular basis I would pick my daughter up with a huge pull-up diaper that would leak onto her clothing. Multiple days in a row would go by without seeing any photos of our son on the Center’s app. You can find a much better learning center/pre-school in our area.

I felt so safe when I dropped my kids off for a day of play-based, project-oriented fun with teachers that are trained in Positive Psychology for Educators. That alone gives insight into the creative and thoughtful vibe of the school. I would highly recommend you sign up early to be lucky enough to get a spot at this special place. Bright Beginning was so much more than just a fantastic preschool for our family, it grew into a wonderful community beyond the walls, too.
