Bright Horizons at Interbay

While this Bright Horizons facility has potential, we ultimately withdrew our child due to concerns about staff attentiveness and basic care. We observed multiple instances where our child's fundamental needs were neglected. For example, his diaper remained unchanged for nearly three hours, falling to his ankles, despite the stated policy of changes every two hours. After water play, he was left in soaked socks and shoes for hours in an air-conditioned room (his feet being visibly cold, soaked, and wrinkled), even though we had provided dry replacements. These incidents were particularly disappointing, especially given that the classroom was under-capacity, Bright Horizons' strong reputation and good reviews. We expected a much higher standard of care and supervision.

Our little one has been at BH Interbay for almost a year (both in the infant and toddler classrooms) and we absolutely love it! The teachers are very kind and warm toward the kids and keep a connection even as the kids age out of their classrooms. The curriculum is fun and exciting and we’re amazed at how many new things our daughter has learned — art, music, dancing, expanded vocabulary, and even yoga!

I cannot say enough great things about BH Interbay. Our daughter started daycare in the parttime program in the Infant Room, transitioned into parttime in the Toddler Room, then we moved her fulltime after a few months in Toddler. She has thrived in both rooms and recently moved up into the Early Preschool (EP) room for ages 2-3. The location is convenient, the parking is better than anywhere else you can look, and more importantly, the staff and teachers are top notch. The Infant classroom teachers are exactly who you want when you go from being on mat/pat leave to having to trust other people with your most treasured baby. They made the transition smooth and they care for the babies like their own. You feel confident in the care they are receiving which puts you at ease. Our daughter fell in love with her Toddler classroom teachers, and it's crazy how much children bond with the staff and administration here, which says a lot about the quality of the staff here. As a parent, the transitions are the hardest, and I'm so glad we chose BH Interbay. Every milestone/transition/change, they have been there for and I cannot be more thankful and appreciative because you always want the best for your kids.

Our daughter started daycare when she was 9 months old and has been very happy at BH interbay, which I could tell from her smiles and laughter when she walks into and out the classroom. All teachers we’ve had are patient, loving, considerate and professional educators. We feel grateful for their hard work and caring to our baby

We’ve been at Bright Horizons Interbay since July 2023 starting in the infant room and now in the toddler room. We love it here and feel very grateful for the community! Every single teacher and staff member we’ve met and worked with is incredible and shows they really care for our child. From the start, the director and assistant director have been incredibly supportive, welcoming, beyond helpful and accommodating. The teachers in the infant room were instrumental in helping us feel comfortable and confident in the transition to daycare- they are such a big part of our daughter’s life and we really love them! Our daughter has learned and grown so much during her time at BH so far. Can’t say enough good things about the people here- very grateful for a safe place to take my child where I know she’s cared for so well! She loves it too! An extra perk- the parking situation is a dream compared to every other childcare place I’ve seen. That and the fact they aren’t closed super often has been very helpful with mine and my partner’s work schedules.
