Bright Horizons at Old Town Alexandria

I would highly recommend BH Old Town as a premier early learning center. Our son who is now 3 years old has been enrolled since he was around 17 mos old. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time at the school largely in part due to teacher staffing and the administration present. I'd like to take a moment to recognize Toddler 2 teacher Ms. Sam on her efforts. Ms. Sam is professional, responsible and knowledgeable. She has children of her own at the center as well! She is great at communicating and providing updates as needed. Her connection with her students is amazing as she can easily find ways to connect with each child. Her caring manner and attention to detail cannot be missed. Although our son is no longer in her class, she happily interacts with him. BH Old Town is a great early learning center not only because of a challenging curriculum but teachers like Ms. Sam. Thanks Ms. Sam! JW

We recently joined the Bright Horizons community and am so glad we did! Our three year old is so much more engaged in the curriculum than she was at her previous preschool. She’s learned so much in a short period of time - her vocabulary expands daily! And she gets to play outside almost everyday, which makes for much more restful sleep at night. The staff at Bright Horizons Old Town are also so accommodating, we told them our daughter’s needs and they obliged. Her teachers are always in control of the classroom, and the students listen and follow direction. They even helped us when we were scrambling to get children’s furniture for our daughter’s birthday party. Just tremendous family vibes. Highly recommend sending your little ones here!

Our 3 years old daughter started preschool at Bright Horizon Old Town beginning of August. The teachers are excellent! Miss Ashley and Miss Janette are so loving and caring. They made my daughter feel safe and loved the first day and ever since she is always excited and happy to go to school. We are happy with the nurturing environment, caring teachers, and educational activities.

Our experience with both our children has been great at Bright Horizons OTA. Our son started when he was just 5 months and stayed all the way through K-Prep, our daughter, who started at 6 months, just moved into the Toddler room and she absolutely loves it here! The Infant teachers are wonderful and so sweet and caring. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and know all the kids by first name. The facilities are very clean and children have all sorts of toys both fun and educational. I highly recommend it!

Both of our sons (1 former, 1 current) have attended Bright Horizons Old Town over the past 4 years and had fantastic experiences! Excellent teachers, high quality and clean facilities, and great curriculum. The staff and teachers make an active effort to keep parents informed and involved. It’s worth the investment, Highly recommended!
