Bright Horizons at San Mateo

We spent approximately 13 months at Bright Horizon Daycare Center, attending the infant to toddler class. We absolutely loved Teachers Julie, Kim, and Wendy in the infant class, as well as Teachers Sheila and Yi in toddler class. They were genuinely caring and organized a fantastic curriculum with engaging activities for the children. The facilities are also excellent, as they are very new. Our child also learned a lot of good manners from the teachers, such as putting away toys, washing hands, cleaning up messes, and sharing toys with friends. While the center doesn't provide school lunch, which might be seen as a disadvantage, I don't mind this since my child is very picky about food, and I prefer to prepare meals for her.

Our journey with Bright Horizons San Mateo over the past six months has been exceptional. Everyone is super nice and cool, making it feel just like a second home. The place is not just bright but also super modern, making it a fantastic spot for our little buddy. Daily book readings, interactive sessions, and engaging songs have significantly contributed to our child's joy and learning. We also like the regular updates through the Bright Horizons App, ensuring we are always informed about our child's activities and well-being. The special events during the holiday season, like Pajama Day, Thanksgiving, and the Winter Fest Celebration, bring an extra layer of excitement to our son's daycare experience. As parents of an infant, we cherish the monthly activity news and achievements. Celebrating milestones like our son's first roll-over, sitting by himself, trying solid food, and standing independently, the teachers share the joy with us, making the daycare experience truly special. In conclusion, we highly recommend Bright Horizons San Mateo to parents seeking a daycare experience for their little ones. Bright Horizons at San Mateo has been a home away from home for our family and our three year old. We chose this particular location of Bright Horizons because of the accommodating hours, friendly teaching staff and clean, safe facility (it's new! what more can you ask for than fresh, new facilities and new resources). We also love the large outdoor playground. The teachers encourage creative play, find creative ways to include art in daily lessons and are all familiar with my child's needs and wants. We know we have a lot of options when it comes to child care and preschool and this program has been exactly what we needed.
