Bright Horizons at South Lake Union

Under Julz’s leadership, we’ve had great experiences at Bright Horizons SLU for both our son and daughter. They look forward to spending time with their teachers and friends and have learned / are learning lots of skills from walking and eating solid foods to reading and writing. It’s also very convenient that the center is open nearly all of the time (only closing for major holidays and significant weather disruptions).

Our experience with Bright Horizons at South Lake Union has been exceptional. Transitioning our two-year-old son from a nanny share to daycare we thought might be challenging, but the staff at SLU made it incredibly smooth and comfortable. They were so attentive to his needs (and ours as parents) from day one. In just one month, we've seen remarkable growth in his learning and development across the board – from language skills to social interaction. The teachers are fantastic – kind, considerate, and genuinely invested in each child. We especially appreciate the photos and updates through the day; it's wonderful to see him engaged in activities and having so much fun! While he was already a social child, Bright Horizons has helped him blossom even further. We highly recommend Bright Horizons at South Lake Union!

Bright Horizons SLU is amazing! Our child started at 18 months and just switched into the 2's classroom. There was a thoughtful transition period for going from toddler to 2. The teachers are knowledgeable, fun, caring, and we have no worries dropping off each day. Some of the activities they do are ones I would never have thought of but are important for their development. The classrooms are a nice size and the outdoor space was the largest we saw of several daycares.

We love the Bright Horizons at SLU. My daughter has been going there since she was 10 months old and it’s a second home for her. The teachers and staff are always very welcoming and have accommodated any requests we have had. They have helped her through tough transitions and we could not have asked for a better child care center! Their play and outdoor area is also one of the best and my daughter loves it. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have their kid go to a safe and fun-filled environment.

My family has been a part of the BH family since 2018 when my older boy started daycare at the SLU location. Our experience has always been positive with both our boys. My younger boy will be graduating from the center this summer :) The staff has always been great with their communication with the parents. The meals are wholesome and the staff is excellent in managing the kids’ dietary restrictions, if any. There is plenty of room to play outside and has always been the fav time of my kids when at daycare. My wife and I highly recommend this place!
