Bright Horizons at West Seattle

We've been part of the Bright Horizons family for 2 years, and we are so thankful! Every teacher our son has had has been so engaging and kind. It's a place full of people who truly love kids and love to see them thrive. It might be a bit more expensive than other daycares, but we fully believe that we get what we pay for: good care, good meals, good developmental activities, good support. Highly recommend!

Bright Horizons West Seattle has been absolutely wonderful for our family. Our infant son gets so excited when he's dropped off in the morning, and we feel like he's truly getting the best of care. While expensive, it's been worth it for us for the peace of mind and wonderful teachers.

Our infant son has absolutely thrived at bright horizons. We’ll be keeping him there until he ages out because he loves the staff. Everyone knows him, greets him, and clearly genuinely cares about him. My favorite thing is the regular photo updates and the new milestone updates. Oh and the food which apparently my son devours, so it must be good. They take the kids outside everyday, do really beautiful arts and crafts with them, and expose them to diverse experiences. I used to teach before switching careers so I feel like I’m a tough critic. But BH west Seattle has met and exceeded my expectations.

I don’t have any kids that go here, but my partner lives in the apartments right above bright horizons and the teachers seem engaging and adorable. It makes me chuckle to hear the conversations that take place.

The management at this Bright Horizons is really incompetent. I used the Bright Horizons Backup Care program to make a reservation for my daughter at this location. The West Seattle location had availability and confirmed my reservation. On the day of the reservation, when I was getting ready for dropping off my daughter, I got a call from the West Seattle location and they told me that they have no space for my daughter even though they had given me a confirmation earlier. This is not an isolated incident. The same thing happened to me 2 days later. And I had to run around at the last minute to find a daycare option for my daughter. The people working at Bright Horizons West Seattle don't even have the basic decency to give you a heads up 1 or 2 days earlier to let you know that they don't have space for you! I would recommend everyone to stay away from this location due to terribly incompetent management here.
