Our backup care got canceled from another BH, and we had to hurry up to reschedule this branch. Then, the admin doesn’t allow my child to get into the classroom unless we fill out all the forms online. First, we had submitted all the required forms a while back, cuz we had been to other branches for so many times. Second, they refused to print out the forms for us to fill out at the branch, and we had to do it over the mobile.
After all, the crazy part is, one of the development forms have thousands line to ask all the development questions, and we been to a lot of branches, they are okay if we leave them blank, but the person who blocked my child to get in, required us to fill out NA for every single lines even it’s completely not relevant. Honestly, we never had such ask from the past 3 years!
Please, make the backup care convenient for parents. That’s why it’s called backup care.
If I have other branch choices, I won’t choose this one for sure. I can drive for an hour for other branches, instead of holding my child in arm while filling out this form over my mobile for ONE HOUR
This is an updated review after the day of backup care.
My 15 months old boy came home with few scratches on his face, that he might run into objects, and his left face was completely swollen and red for the whole night. However, when my husband picked up my kid there, teachers didn't mention one word about how my boy got few scratches on his face (On the other hand, we were at NY's Bright Horizon last week, teachers reported any scratches immediately with a notification and a phone call.) I can completely understand these ages of babies and toddlers fall all the time.
After the day, I received a daily report card of my child's status. The funny thing was, there were 30+ photos of the other three toddlers in the room, and my boy only got ONE photo. (Honestly, I can understand my boy possibly had some rough time, because he was new to daycare.)
But what made me upset is, the school demanded me to fill out NA for 5 pages of forms over my mobile phone, as they said, it's state government mandatory (I wouldn't believe any state government will require parents to fill out NAs for 5 pages), yet when my 15 month-old boy really fell down, it didn't worth for them to mention ONE word to you.

Sending my daughter to bright horizon west campus is absolutely one of the best choices we’ve made. My daughter started at 2 years old. We are very grateful that all the teachers and staff here have created a welcoming and caring environment. It has made the home to school transition very smooth. My daughter is so happy and excited to go to the school every single morning.
Through the school’s app, we receive fun pictures, videos plus detailed descriptions of the daily activities. Honestly, I am amazed by how many fun educational activities they created to promote cognitive and social development through play. From arts and crafts to music and physical play, the diverse range of activities keeps my daughter engaged and excited to learn. I am so thrilled with the progress she has made academically and personally!
The communication with school and teacher is always easy and efficient. They are always there ready to listen and talk whenever you need to.
All in all, I would love to express my gratitude to the BH west campus team and highly recommend it!!

Our son is attending toddler program here and we are impressed by how caring all the staff here are. Not only his teachers are constantly looking for ways to make separation less painful for him and him having a good day there, directors of the center all jump in to help (nap time, transition time) all the time. You will get a team of folks who have been here for a long time to care for your children, and that really creates a calm/nurturing environment that children needs.

Sending my two kids to this daycare has been an absolute pleasure. The center is warm and welcoming, and the staff is nothing short of amazing. They are caring, friendly, and truly dedicated to the well-being of every child. I can't speak highly enough about the positive experience we've had—this place feels like a second home for our family!

My daughter goes to this school currently and has excelled tremendously in all areas. She wakes up in the morning excited to get her shoes on to go to school. The teachers all do such a great job taking their time with the little ones and teaching them many different things. My favorite part is being able to see what she worked on each day in the My Bright Day app and reading or hearing the feedback from her teachers about what she did that day. She learns something new everyday and a big part of that is because of the curriculum instilled at Bright Horizons and its patient teachers.
