Bright Little Scholars Early Learning Center

I have nothing but good things to say about this program and the teachers! Ms Mercedes is absolutely incredible when it comes to communication to start with. She is also amazing with the academic program chosen for the children. My 4 year-old started pre-K late in October and already knows how to count 1 through 20 in both English and Spanish. She also now knows all 12 months of the year in both English and Spanish before starting this program. She had not known a single word of Spanish. She can also say please and thank you hello in Spanish and in English. I am absolutely thrilled and pleased with how far my daughter has come. She can now recognize numbers and write numbers along with quite a few letters of the alphabet. If you were looking for a pre-K program that will set your child up for their future and all of the best way as possible please consider this program and the teachers within it. I was a little hesitant at first, only due to some of the reviews that I’ve seen, but clearly somebody was just angry that day because those negative reviews were anything but the truth. Big thank you and shout out to the teachers at bright little scholars for doing such an amazing job with our children. I wish there was more I could do to show my appreciation. I can’t wait to see what more my daughter learns and how far she comes.

The daycare is amazing! The staff is extremely friendly and professional. My son looks forward to going there every day. I like that it’s an educational based facility with the small ratio of children and wonderful teachers and exposes your child to different aspects of learning through sensory and play. As a single parent I deeply appreciate the staff being nice and caring, and the Director really cares about the children and works with the parents. Also, for the parents whose kids are new to daycare/school, you need not worry, for your kids will be safe and secure there. Kids who may be apprehensive at first will quickly adjust, as the staff will lovingly reassure them every day. It’s a relief to me as a mother to know that when I drop him off every morning-he will be well taken care of. The director always shares awesome resources for our family and we greatly appreciate it. And to top it off both centers are star 4 which makes me even happier. Thank you Ms Mercedes and the staff for caring for me and my family.

This program is much more than a childcare program. They’re committed to doing everything possible to support our families and communities! The environment is safe and healthy. They provide a comprehensive assessment on all children in their care. They offer developmental approaches through guidance and specialized curriculums for all ages. This program consistently provides options to create the most fitting path for students and their families. Thank you for your service in our communities. Continue to fall forward.

I have visited this child care center twice. First time I went to a literacy program held for the community and parents it was very informative. Second visit, I brought my son for a day to see how this child care functioned. My 3 yr old son is a handful and transitioned well in her setting. I must say the quality and care displayed is like no other. I can attest to the professionalism rendered.

Bright Little Scholars is an exceptional childcare facility in every way. After seeing  a number of care options in the Philadelphia region, I am confident that this center offers the greatest treatment. Mercedes, the facility's owner, goes above and beyond for the children there. Did I add that both facilities offer Phl-Prek and are star 4? This is the place to go if you want a HIGH QUALITY environment that promotes learning and offers new experiences.
