Buds & Blossoms Child Care & Early Education Center

My son kept surprising my family during his Buds & Blossoms daycare experience. He enjoyed class circle time and outdoor activities very much. The teachers made good effort in combining everyday life, nature, and play together for a wonderful curriculum. Also, we were very glad to find him singing and dancing to a variety of Chinese nursery songs! The teachers were friendly and supportive to help him complete potty training. My son received tons of encouragement from his teachers. We’re very grateful for their enthusiasm and professional guidance.

Both of my sons went to Buds and Blossoms from infant through preschool. They are now in Elementary and Middle school, so this daycare has a long track record. I can't say enough about how caring the teachers are. My kids also came out of preschool fully fluent in Mandarin, and we have kept up their Mandarin fluency to this day. We are still in touch with several families that we met at Buds and Blossoms. It's a wonderful community with caring teachers and staff.

My 2 year old daughter has been at Buds and Blossoms for over a year and we could not be happier with the teachers and the daycare. She loves her teachers and is so happy to go to daycare every day. She has made many friends there in different classes. We do not speak Mandarin at home but she is able to speak Mandarin in school and she comes home singing Mandarin songs. She is developing amazingly under their care. The teachers are super nurturing and caring. The ratio between kids and teachers is excellent. The kids go on field trips. We just went apple picking and pumpkin picking. That was very fun. They are bringing a little petting zoo to the daycare as well for the kids. The kids go out to exercise once or twice a day weather permitting and do lots of singing and arts and crafts. There are fun events for the parents too, such as date night where you can sign up for them to look after your child from 6-10pm for a very reasonable fee. There are family gatherings such as Thanksgiving dinner together.

Both my younger kids went to Buds and Blossom and loved it there. It was clean, safe and teachers were great and supportive. Teachers gave great feedback and weekly updates with pictures of the kids activities throughout the week. My children loved the daily walks around the city and field trips to Boston Common were a big hit. The healthy daily meals they provided was very helpful and gave my children a chance to adjust to school lunch routines. Jeanne the director is very accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend Buds and Blossom.

We were looking for a daycare near Medford but couldn't find space so this was supposed to be 'until we find one closer' daycare. 3 months later, we can't think of sending her anywhere else! Our daughter (15 months old) loves the teachers here. She has so much fun and learns so many new things. A big thank you to all the teachers and Jeanne!
