My youngest attended his first year of preschool here at BPCP (not yet 3 when he started). His teachers, Mrs. Conant and Ms. Yucra are the most loving and kind teachers a parent could ever hope to have for their child, especially when they are so young! Although he only attended 2 mornings a week, they have had such a positive influence on him both in his love of learning and his positive social experiences with his peers. These ladies truly just give off that warm and loving exuberance that you can only get from those who truly love and care about their students.
My twins also attended this preschool last year, and had Mrs. Taylor who is also an exceptional teacher, and was just beyond patient and compassionate. She is a beautiful soul who I truly believe is exactly where she should be and having a wonderful impact on the children. I really do believe her guidance helped my twins in their successful transition to kindergarten.
I wouldn't say the admin gives off the genuine warm and fuzzy vibes, but that is just personal experience. The school seems to be run well and communication is responsive.
This school has transitioned to a more full-time schedule, which is not something our family needs, but if you're looking for a great little school for your child and don't need the full daycare hours of a centre, I'd recommend checking this place out and having a chat with the director while they still have availability.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about BPCP. Here is a social media post I recently wrote: “Congratulations to our Dax who graduated preschool yesterday in a delightful ceremony in which Kai was also promoted to pre-kindergarten. A big shout-out to their incredibly talented and dedicated teachers who took them from crayons to the perfumery of self-confidence, self-advocacy, and creative self-expression…” My older son attended BCPC for three years, and my younger for one year (and will be returning for another two years). The school principal, Anndra, is a highly experienced, compassionate, and creative leader who has been a tremendous asset to the school. I hope she will continue to lead BPCP in the years ahead.

The new director Aandra is a very nasty person. She sends passive aggressive emails to parents and is mean to her employees. I had to withdraw my daughter because I couldn’t deal with the director for a whole year. On top of that, she changed rules without letting parents know. My daughter was being sent to the office and removed from her classroom and having lunch alone in the office. No one ever communicated this with me. I had to find that out by other parents telling me they saw my child in the office. My daughter later told me she would be sad when she went to the office. My daughter was 3 years old at the time. If my child was acting up, they should have contacted me about it instead of isolating her and having her think she’s a bad person. In a conversation with me Aandra used very passive aggressive language and in a super condescending tone. Aandra isn’t a good leader, and clearly has trouble regulating her own emotions. There are so many preschools in the area that are far better than this one.

My son attended school here in 2023-24 and will do so again in Fall 2024. BPCP is a wonderful place with incredibly kind and caring staff and leadership. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our decision to pick BPCP. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
