We absolutely love Buttercup Hill. Both of our children have attended and I feel so lucky to have found it. From our first tour we realized how invested the teachers are in the growth of children. They take a whole person approach in development. We love the inclusion of academics, art, music, and sense of responsibility and community that they instill. This is all able to be accomplished in a warm and welcoming environment that our children are thrilled to go to every morning.

We love Buttercup Hill! We have felt like a part of the family for the past 6 years as all three of our boys have attended Preschool, PreK, and Kindergarten. We make a distant commute across town in order to specifically attend their wonderful program. All of our kids have been well prepared for elementary school and look back on Buttercup as their very favorite time. In fact, they often love to go back to visit on family days and to say hi to all the teachers. I recommend Buttercup Hill to everyone I know.

Both of our children have attended Buttercup and I’m so glad they have! Not only have they grown in making friends and social relationships, but we have been very impressed by how the teachers have supported our kids in their reading, writing, and math skills. I would without hesitation highly recommend Buttercup to any parents looking for an excellent start to their children’s school experience.

I noticed that my kids have regressed in what they learned at home. The school's old systematic teaching methods are outdated and ineffective, and students who attend Buttercup Hill are often at a disadvantage when they move on to other schools. If you are looking for a school that will challenge your child academically and help them reach their full potential, this is not the right choice. The school's focus on socialization is great for children who need to develop their social skills, but it comes at the expense of academic rigor. The teachers at Buttercup Hill are kind and caring, but they are not always well-equipped to teach children the skills they need to succeed in the modern world. The school's curriculum is outdated and does not focus on the latest scientific and technological advances. Buttercup Hill is a good school for socialization, but it is not the right choice for parents who are looking for academic growth.

Solid 5 stars for Buttercup Hill. Our son went here two years ago, and we had to go virtual pre-K during the beginning of Covid. They handled the Covid transition with grace and generosity to all families. Our son has so many happy memories from Buttercup. Just reflecting on times past- and wanted to give a shout out to Teacher Sarah and her team. Would strongly recommend to any families not looking for daycare— but looking for early childhood education.
