Cadence Academy Preschool

We absolutely love this preschool! The teachers are incredibly warm, patient, and truly care about every child’s growth and happiness. The sense of community here is so welcoming—it really feels like a second home for our family. The programs are thoughtfully planned, creative, and fun, and we’ve seen so much development in our child both socially and academically. We’re so grateful to be part of such a special place!

I have been very satisfied with the high quality care and excellent curriculum at Cadence Broadstone. Sandra is an outstanding leader. Both of my kids have had wonderful teachers at Cadence and they have been attending from 0 to TK. My second child will move on to Elementary school this year and we will miss Cadence so much. It’s the best feeling to drop off my kids every morning and have 100% trust that they are safe and having fun. I highly recommend!

My Granddaughter is attending Cadence Academy Private Kindergarten. Ms. Weathers and Ms. Cooley are truly exceptional Kindergarten teachers! They create such a positive and friendly environment where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. It is clear how much they care about each student, fostering both academic growth and social emotional development. The Management is also professional, approachable and is committed to high-quality education which truly sets them apart!

Management struggled with organizational skills, often prioritizing personal interests—like caring for chickens—over the needs of staff and students. Communication was often vague, leaving teachers guessing about upcoming events and expectations, which created a frustrating environment. Staff frequently faced issues with ratios and breaks, sometimes being forced to take breaks prematurely or forfeit them altogether. Although management claimed to be receptive to concerns, many issues seemed to be forgotten once we were out of sight. For example, it took months to address the removal of my classroom’s materials, and only after persistent requests did the director finally add a lock to the cabinet (but it was already too late for me). The overall atmosphere felt toxic, with evident favoritism making those outside the inner circle feel undervalued. This experience underscored the urgent need for effective leadership and better communication to create a more supportive and cohesive working environment.

My children have been attending The Phoenix Schools, now Cadence Academy for the past seven years. We would never consider taking them anywhere else! My oldest child is excelling in school because of the foundation that she got from Cadence. My youngest will be going to Kindergarten next year and I am so confident that he will be more than ready. Both of our children grew up at this school and we consider everyone at the school a part of our family. The director and assistant director are always available to help with anything I might need. They even helped all of their families by creating a distance learning classroom when the public schools shut down, and helped our child and our family be organized and ready to take on such a different learning experience during COVID. Every teacher that my children have had has been amazing! We are so thankful that we found such a safe, educational and fun school for our children.
