Our Golden Retriever Brady's stay at Camp Bow Wow was SO good it was like he had been on a bachelor's party weekend with the guys from The Hangover movie. He was so wiped out from having so much fun that when we got him home all he wanted to do for 36 hrs was lay on his side on the tile floor! And the dude is only 1 1/2 yrs old. We've used CBW for our previous dog and love the fact that we can see our dog on the Camper Cams. Our dogs have always been well cared for at the CBW's we've used. Highly recommend.

Camp Bow Wow Springfield West always does such a great job with our Gideon. It is easy to use the app to book reservations and update vaccination records and the staff so friendly when we drop off and pick up. Gideon is spoiled there I am sure...he always comes back home tired as he plays all day :)

I have previously used the services of Camp Bow Wow for my two dogs in the past, albeit it has been some time. I called to make a reservation for boarding for the two, and spoke with the owner. She insisted that the dogs come in for another interview. I understand the need for an interview in this type of environment, but the dogs have previously been here before. I asked her what the policy was regarding how much time has passed since their last stay to require the interview and was told 3 years. Fair enough. However, during the conversation she changed the policy to two years. Well… is it 3 years or 2 years? I was told it depends. Okay, depends on what? A lot of different stuff like their prior notes on the dogs. I told her this appeared really arbitrary and like they don’t have a policy in place and I’ll be going with another service. This “policy” is inconvenient for two dogs they have prior to experience caring for. Was I happy in the past with my experience? Sure. Do I think initial interviews for dogs in this setting are appropriate, yeah. Do I think policies should be defined and not just made up, absolutely. She concluded the telephone call by stating - “good luck finding another service on the holiday weekend!”. Super classy and great service.

The staff at Camp Bow Wow West have been incredible with our GSD. They are excited to see her every time, they do fun activities with the dogs to keep them engaged, and truly seem to enjoy what they do. They have been a huge part in our training with Addi as we have worked to socialize her with people, other dogs, and other places. If you know anything about German Shepherds, you know how attached they are to their family. She has come to trust the staff at Camp Bow Wow so much, she allows them to do anything with her, from foam parties, to possing for silly pictures, she loves them and all their attention. Taking her there has been a great decision for us.

Our doggos love going here for both daycare and a few overnights when we cannot take them with us out of town.
The "counselors" are very friendly and almost always know our dogs' names when we arrive.
