Cedars Preschool at Macon

My daughter has been attending Cedar since November and I absolutely love it. Super grateful for her teachers Ms Mellisa and Ms Deborah. They are super nurturing and take away my mom guilt for having to leave her for so many hours, As well as the assistant director Ms Angela, couldn’t be more happier with this location. I know she’s safe.

Clean and friendly environment. The staff and teachers, Ms. Angela, Ms. Malissa, and Ms. Kierra make my daughters' day extra special. They are welcoming, kind, caring, and patient with them every day. My children are excited to go to 'school', are well taken care of, and learning so much!

We absolutely love this preschool! The teachers are truly amazing- so kind, patient, and genuinely invested in each child's growth and happiness. The curriculum is both exciting and engaging, filled with creative activities that spark curiosity and make learning fun. Most importantly, the atmosphere is full of love and warmth, making it feel like a second home for our child. We've seen so much growth and confidence develop since starting here. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a nurturing and inspiring place for their little one!

Just want to give a shout out to one of the best teachers I know, Ms. Kierra Higgins! She’s such an amazing and kind hearted person. In all of the years I’ve seen her teach she’s did nothing but care for and nature her students as if they were her own and that’s what parents look for in their children’s teacher ! The best teacher I know !

Ms. Kierra has been our little ones teacher since cedars in macon has opened. Ms. Kierra always has such a positive attitude, and my Ellie absolutely loves her. She has always been vocal on her thoughts of what direction Ellie should go in, such as if she's ready for potty training. She's also been here from the start, I think that is so important. Shes given Ellie a routine of knowing like hey ms. Kierra is there, lets go see her, and go to school. It is super appreciated. We also really enjoyed when Sha'quira was in the room. She is someone who will tell it like it is (I love that), and Ellie had really gravitated to her. She would give her hugs in the morning and everything. As we all know, Ellie isn't the most affectionate, so those hugs are golddd. Last, but not least, I'd like to shout out Tangie. Tangie has been the closer in Ellies room for some time now. Tangie is open and honest on how Ellie did that day, if she had any emotional outbursts, etc. Tangie also loves being with the kids, you can see she's actively involved and hanging out with them, whether they are seated at the table, reading books, etc. Tangie is great!! Outside of shout outs to teachers, the only negative thing I would say is reports not being updated throughout the day, or even daily. Most of the time I'll get 1 or 2 reports on if Ellie ate snack, lunch, or dinner, napped, etc. I was really excited to join cedars for that benefit offered. I have given up a lot of hope on that being updated daily. I still check it throughout my workday though- just to see. Hoping we will get to the consistentcy with it one day! I know those 2 year olds can be rough.
