Central Bark Kenosha

Our Aussie is 11 and hasn’t been crated or away from us in years. We were going on vacation and Central Bark was highly recommended. I was worried like a crazy dog mom yet I saw photos and got messages that she was loving being with other dogs doing well. Thank you to Central Bark for taking care of our girl, posting 100+ photos everyday and being in communication while we were away. Central Bark is highly recommended! Also thanks to the staff, especially Jason, and owner Mark who called me to make sure we were all set for Aussie’s sleepovers before we left on vacation. That’s great service and peace of mind.

The Staff of Central Bark Kenosha treats all pups as if they were their own and does a great job of interacting and socializing many breeds of pups. They have several events throughout the year that the staff has a blast with that many of the pups and their families enjoy seeing. They are knowledgeable experts and provide many services such as Day Care, Sleepovers/Boarding, Grooming/Bathing and Training.

It will be going on two years that our little Betty has been going to Central Bark. Jason is always is so communicative and friendly as well as all the staff. We hear that Betty has friends there, Olive and Winston. Apparently, she runs and plays a lot with them because when she gets home, she is sooooo tired. We love that she gets this exercise and has interactions with other dogs and people. Central Bark has a pleasant, clean atmosphere. We enjoy taking short trips and find it convenient to take Betty there for overnight stays, where she is familiar with the surroundings, not to mention having our own peace of mind. I highly recommend Central Bark for your furry friends - they’ll be showered with love and kindness.

The groomer nicked my dog, which I understand happens, however we were not informed if this until I called to investigate after seeing blood when I got home. His tail was not groomed at all, even though it was specifically requested. His nails weren't trimmed as they claimed to be. Furthermore, when I called to speak to a manager to investigate what happened while my dog was in the care of the team at Central Bark Kenosha, he was rude and unprofessional. And when I said such, and gave my concerns, the response I got, very aggressively, was "Well I'm having a bad day". You're the manager of a whole team, that deals with dogs and their owners. I get bad days, but you absolutely DO NOT get to take it out on your clients that are calling with legit concerns! I was then hung up on. When I called back to attempt to get confirmation of my refund, I was give short, rude, unprofessional responses by another staff member (the manager refused to take the call and actually handle the situation) I then received a call, from Mar Dandrea, defending the manager and the events, and telling me that I was handling the situation wrong. His demeanor was the same as the manager I spoke with, careless about his customers.

Frankie had his first day at Central Bark Kenosha yesterday and had an amazing day! He still is snoozing!! Frankie previously had gone to a different daycare in town however we took a break away and found Central Bark and wanted to give them a try. I’m so glad we did! The site is super clean, staff is extremely friendly and can tell they truly love and take care of these dogs! Jason and I went to school together so it was great to see a familiar face behind the counter. I met with several members and they had such a great time and helped make his first day so smooth! We are looking forward to next week and the weeks to come thank you for having us apart of your family, Central Bark Kenosha!!
