Central Bark Rochester

Central Bark is THE BEST for doggy daycare and grooming. They have treated our two dogs like family since day one. We have been taking them twice weekly for two years and everyday walking in they are so excited to see all the handlers, who are just as excited to see them, and a huge bonus - everyday they come home pooped. We have also done multi-night boarding. They send updates and take pictures everyday so you can see how much fun your dog is having while you are away. Also, their groomer Katie is a magician. One of our girls is a new rescue, who is terrified of most sounds and things. She has been so sweet with her, helping her get exposure to grooming at her pace and made her feel comfortable. Every time she comes out looking so precious. I truly cannot say enough good things about Central Bark, Abby, and all the staff there. We are transplants to Rochester, without family/friends here to help with the dogs and Central Bark has been a godsend for allowing us to ensure our girls have the best lives ever, while we also get to have some time to ourselves. If you're thinking about using their services, just do it!

It was Maggie’s first time at grooming and Danielle did such a great job! Danielle was so kind and put Maggie at ease and gave her a great grooming. Maggie came out so cute and clean and came home very happy and calm. Thank you very much Danielle for your patience and talented grooming!

My golden retriever, Ramsey, loves Central Bark in Rochester! They take such good care of her, it is worth every penny. They have such nice staff and they take the time to make sure your dog is properly cared for all throughout the day. Ramsey always comes home super tired!

What a great place for pet and pet owners! They gave daycare, grooming, retail, and more! Staff is wonderful, and pet products are great. I had the pleasure of touring the entire facility and can not say enough good things about it! Also, they offer classes and education for bite prevention and dog care.

When Akula came to us, she was scared of everything. She spent a lot of time hiding. When she wasn’t hiding, she’d snuggle up next to me and growl and attempt to attack anybody (especially the kid) and any dog that came near me. Our other dogs attend Central Bark Rochester and we’ve seen our dogs grow so much with them. With apprehension that she wouldn’t make it past the first day, we signed her up to go with them. I cannot tell you how thankful we are for them. They took it slow with her and worked with her at her pace. Not only did she graduate from 1:1 sessions to the group with our other two dogs, we have seen her come out of her shell at home. She no longer growls at the kid when he comes near, she’ll be in the same room as the others and she’ll even accept and beg for treats from my husband and my kid. She looks forward to her doggy daycare each week and we cannot thank them enough for the time, attention, care and love they’ve given to not just Akula but our other dogs as well. I cannot recommend Central Bark enough.
