Child House Dream

We recently relocated to Lakeland and were exploring Montessori options for our then nearly 3-year-old son. While we considered several larger schools, visiting Child House Dream and meeting Ms. Stefka made our decision easy; we immediately knew this was the right place for our son. The smaller setting at Child House Dream has been a huge advantage. It allows for a calmer environment and more individualized attention. Our son’s life skills, confidence, independence, and curiosity have all grown so much in the six months he’s been enrolled here. Ms. Stefka is deeply passionate about what she does. She brings warmth, thoughtfulness, and intention to every part of the day. It’s clear she genuinely understands and respects each child’s unique way of learning. We also love that the school provides nutritious meals every day. It makes us feel supported as working parents and confident that our child is being well cared for in mind and body. We highly recommend Child House Dream to any family looking for a nurturing environment with thoughtful, individualized care.

Ms. Stefka is truly amazing! She is incredibly patient, caring, and dedicated to the children. Child House Dream was a second home to my two daughters. They loved every minute spent with Stefka. She was like part of our family and took care of them, as they were her own children. Many thanks from all of my heart for all her hard work, love and dedication and patience with the kids. The school is very clean and organized. Stefka keeps everything spotless and provides healthy environment for the kids. The Montessori program, that she is certified in, lets them learn and explore different things every day. It’s hands on learning experience. My kids learned a lot while they attended the school. It’s impressive that kids their age (3 and 4) know all 50 states, because Stefka taught them; learned how to write and count. Every day is filled with different activities, that let them learn something new. Stefka provides healthy meals throughout the day, that she prepares with so much love. My kids have very healthy eating habits thanks to her. Stefka also keeps you informed throughout the day with pictures and whatever they did and ate. Me and my whole family love Child House Dream and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a safe and healthy place for their kids to learn and grow!

Our son was attending this wonderful preschool for almost 6 years, until he went to Kindergarten. We were so blessed with the Child House Dream! The children get a lot of attention with 1:5 (max) teacher to child ratio from a certified Montessori teacher, which would be impossible in a larger facilities and the results are clearly visible. Mrs Stefka provides healthy meals made from scratch, but also offers flexibility if parent prefers to bring own food. The day is structured, filled with learning Montessori activities, everyday playground visits, nap time and play again. The teacher also works really hard on potty training and teaching children everyday activities like washing dishes, shoe polishing, pouring water and much more. Mrs Stefka is very flexible in terms of availability, to accommodate working parents schedules. Everyday txts messages filled with pictures and movies made my days, while at work. The warm and friendly environment makes it a perfect second home. Our kids are always welcomed back when the school is off, which is very convenient for us and allows the siblings spend time together. Mrs Stefka is always there for the children. I can’t say enough good things about Child House Dream preschool which is indeed the Dream House for Children. Highly recommended!

My 3 1/2 year old daughter has been going to Child Dream House for almost 2 years now and we absolutely love it. They are very flexible and have great hours, they can always accept my child earlier in the morning or keep her after 5pm if I have some last minute errands to run. In Child Dream House I can see the growth and learning every day! The teacher and owner miss Stefka, loves having my daughter and my daughter seems very happy here. My daughter interacts with the other kids, they all share toys, hug each other, and create the most interesting art projects for such an age. It's very nice to know that she is in a caring environment. I am also impressed with the Montessori program here. My kid counts till 20, knows all the states (and their location), the whole alphabet, she even takes first steps towards reading. Also, she eats and puts her clothes on/off independently, and the diaper is long gone. Stefka cooks her own kids-friendly meals with a lot of fruits and vegetables. I would recommend this homey-feeling-place to everyone with little ones.
