We LOVE Childcare Matters and are so thankful to have found it (thanks to a friend’s recommendation!). It stands out on many fronts - high teacher retention (several for 20+ years), communicative and approachable leadership, parental involvement, sense of community, and truly caring, knowledgeable teachers. We now have two children attending and so appreciate the opportunities to be involved and get to know other families. This is a wonderful school!

I originally chose Childcare Matters (CCM) because I wanted to support a daycare that supports their teachers, believing that teacher satisfaction impacts lower turnover, a stronger, consistent community, and respect for the amazing skills and warmth they bring to our children. Multiple teachers at CCM have been there for over 20 years, and that is not the exception. My hopes were confirmed. Their expertise and positive, child-centric practices have really supported my 2 children, one of whom had not interacted with other kids due to COVID until he was 14 months at his first day at CCM. They meet my children where they are, both with their strengths as well as their individual challenges. I cannot say enough about the community the Director and teachers have helped cultivate. They even have offered Parent Workshops, Parent's Night Off, and provide childcare during CCM parent meetings and CCM volunteer days. I hope your kids are as lucky as mine to snag a spot.

We've happily had our daughter there for 6 months now and she literally runs inside every day because she is so excited. The veteran teachers (32+ years in just the 1-2yr room!) are amazing and always keep us informed on how our child is doing. It has been a really positive experience all around—we are really grateful to be a part of this daycare. Update: its been almost a year and a half and we are still having a great experience. We now have our second child there too. The kids love being there and they are well loved by the staff. We are so grateful for CCM.

Our child has been at CCM for 2 years now and we only have great things to say about her time here. The staff has been supportive and friendly each step of the way with our child's development. I think that the atmosphere is an incredible balance of play and learning. Frankly, I'm amazed and impressed with some of experiences and knowledge that our child comes home excited to share with us. Most of the teachers at CCM have been there for many, many years and that continuity and experience is really on display. Parent involvement is also very strong at CCM. The new space is very nice and there are plenty of toys, enrichment activities, and books. Still I think that the teachers and staff are what makes CCM so wonderful.

We've had our child (now children) at CCM (Childcare Matters) for three years now and we could not be happier. The staff are AWESOME, the activities are great; it's just lovely. Our kids love going every day. We definitely feel like we are part of a close-knit community. It's such a loving atmosphere, and everyone, both staff and parents, are very motivated to contribute to make the center as good as possible. We've really loved getting involved in the recreational and service activities and have made some great friends. CCM is really very unique in how long most of the staff have worked there; some of them for more than fifteen years! The reason there is so little turnover is because it's a great environment to be in, for both the staff and the kids. We have also really liked CCM's dedication to diversity so that our kids are friends with children from a variety of backgrounds.
