Children of America Smithtown

By far the BEST after care and camp my kids have attended! The staff is amazing, especially Marjorie and Alex. They respond quickly whenever you need something answered. They really care about the children and are so helpful and understanding of their needs. One of my kids has always had an issue at after care/camp and not once have I heard of any issues with her since being there. They really enjoyed themselves at camp and are looking forward to all the trips and activities they have planned for them. So happy to have found this facility for them and highly recommend.

The center is always clean, safe, and well-organized, with engaging activities that foster creativity, learning, and social growth. My child has flourished here, coming home every day excited to share new songs, art projects, and skills learned through play. The structured curriculum, combined with a loving environment, makes this the perfect place for little ones to thrive. Communication with parents is top-notch, with regular updates, photos, live camera feed and open dialogue that provide peace of mind. I always feel confident that my child is in great hands.

Ms. Lynette is an exceptional teacher at children of America, and she has made a lasting impact on my daughter's development and growth. Her dedication, patience, and creativity shine through in everything she does. From the moment i first met Ms. Lynette, I knew my daughter was in good hands. She creates a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn. Her passion for teaching is evident in the way she engages with each child, tailoring activities to their individual needs and interests. Ms. Lynette's communication skills are top-notch, keeping me informed about my daughter's progress and always willing to answer any questions i may have. She goes above and beyond to make sure that every child in her care feels supported and loved. I am so grateful to have had Lynette as our daughter's teacher. She is truly a gem, and i can't thank her enough for all that she does. My daughter has flourished under her guidance, and I am confident that she is laying a strong foundation for her future success. Thank you, Ms. Lynette, for being such a wonderful teacher and role model!

My children have been enrolled there since they were 23 months and 8 months old. They both love it and have had wonderful experiences with all of their teachers. It was a huge relief for me to leave my infant son with Ms.Patty who always made us feel like she cared for him as though he was family. I've seen wonderful progress with my son through his interactions with Mr.Nick and my daughter absolutely loves spending her days with Ms.Marjorie, Ms.Ally and Ms. Alex and Ms. Lynnette.

Marjorie is such a great director! She has made so many positive changes to the school and it is reflected in the amazing teachers and their attitudes. You can see that kids love coming to school and parents feel comfortable dropping their children off. I really admire that she is so communicative and is always making herself available. I highly recommend bringing your children to Children of America in Smithtown for great education, great teachers, and a director that always has a warm and positive smile.
