Children's Lighthouse of Mansfield

I was one of those nervous parents who was apprehensive about sending their child to daycare. After being there for almost a year I can tell you the staff is great and my son loves it! They are very responsive to concerns, easily accessible via the ProCare app, and the webcam access to check in on him during the day are all big positives. Miss Lynda and her team are great and we have recommended this center many times to friends. Throughout the day we get updates with pictures, meal and nap times, diaper changes, you name it. The staff engage in activities, songs, and outdoor time every day. Interacting with others has helped my son learn to talk and express himself so well. It seems like every day he’s coming home having learned something new.

Staff are amazing and communicative! My kiddos have thrived at Children's Lighthouse. My son was more than prepared for pre-k both socially and academically and my daughter is on the same track.

As a parent, I couldn’t be more happy with the experience my daughter is having at the Children’s Lighthouse of Mansfield. She has been enrolled for over a year now and I am thankful for the community that cares about her well-being. The teachers are passionate, caring, and incredibly dedicated. Each teacher my daughter has met has left an everlasting impact on her. The curriculum is engaging and challenging which makes my daughter excited to share what she learns everyday. While learning she is also having fun meeting friends her age who share her excitement. The program doesn’t stop at academics, it has a focus on character development as well. It teaches important values like kindness, confidence, and responsibility. Most importantly, I have immense peace of mind as a mother knowing that my daughter is in a positive, safe learning environment. I can’t recommend the Children’s Lighthouse enough - they are impacting lives and supporting families in a way that goes beyond the classroom.

Our 1.5 year experience there had its fair share of ups and downs but mostly up. Leadership was responsive to the concerns I had. Teachers tried their best to meet all expectations but some had a passion and fair amount of training for the job and some didn’t-and that’s just the truth. Ultimately, I decided to withdraw my child and place her in a Montessori environment which met our needs better at the time. I recently called to ask about drop in care and never heard back from Management. I guess my expectations and accountability efforts are just too much to handle. So be warned that enrollment quotas are very political and not actually true. If they like, there’s a space. If not, good riddance. Thankfully there are other qualified centers in the area.

My daughter recently started here and we are so happy! All of the teachers and staff are so warm and welcoming. They are excellent at communication and cleanliness. My daughter is so engaged and happy everyday!
