I barely registered my 18month old son today and I love the staff already I spoke to Jennifer for the past couple weeks and she has been so patient with all of my new mom questions and concerns she has treated me so kind and welcoming I can not wait for my son to begin and start socializing and learning new things Jennifer made it an easy decision and really took the time to help me she called me back in a timely manner. I was their for a tour and a child had a fever and she was really concerned and made sure the teacher checked it multiple times before calling the guardian I already feel at ease with this new transition coming soon.

Refuses to take autistic kids or kids who have potty training problems. Or any kid who doesnt fit in their box. Such a shame. I thought it was illegal to discriminate against ada kids.

I was very disappointed with this facility based on my experience of enrolling my four year old son there. He comes from a two parent household and because of that, I asked the school on numerous occasions if there is something that must be addressed (i.e dress up days, referrals, news) that I be informed via their Brightwheel app, email, or phone call. Every time that I asked, I was assured that efforts would be made to better communication between myself and them. That was never so. Unless I contacted them inquiring about my son and his progress or problems, I was never reached out to over the course of the near 9 months my son was enrolled. The few times in which I did get a response to discuss behavioral problems my son was having at school with other children, and after being given a copied incident report from my son's mother and not by them, I was met with explanations that suppressed the seriousness of the issues he was facing at school' being told he was just a "boy being a boy," "we know he's good," "we'll keep working with him," and "sometimes this happens." The less than handful times I was able to converse with the director of the facility, Mary Ann Moreno, I was met with passive aggressive quips never detailing the incidents my son was a part of, but evident annoyance from her that this issue was taken to her. After my last point of contact to check in how my son was doing, I was understandably surprised when I was met with rude behavior by said director in telling me he was sent home, that I "need to understand" his behavior was not okay, and the threat he will be disenrolled insinuating my compliance to negative behavior from my son. I asked in what ways can I give more support to the school, and re-emphasized previous requests to be contacted or called during my son's class to talk to me, and was never responded to (nor has that that specific request ever been honored when I asked). This morning I came to find my son was disenrolled via my son's mother and was again given no notice via their app, email, or phone call. when I called the facility, I was sent straight to voicemail and have not been called back since. I was assured since the beginning from the director and assistant director that they were understanding and proactive to include both parties and co-parents for children for an equal and equitable experience, but that was the farthest from the truth. Additionally, Ms. Moreno's behavior to other parents that I witnessed when talking to them or messaging them is inappropriate as it is founded in sarcasm, passive aggressive jabs, and lack of communication. When confronted by parents however about problems, including myself, she is dismissive and/or her attitude changes to being considerate to avoid accountability. She prides herself on "building strong relationships with my parents and staff," but that only is evidenced if she is in control and can avoid conflict that could weaken any so called relationship. I understand I am just a single review, and that is not to disparage any other family that has had a positive experience, but it should be taken into account that my problems faced with this institution are reflective of what other customers have faced as well. This is a problem, and it starts with their staff. I would not recommend this place and advise you take your child elsewhere.

The old management front lady was so annoying and rude. So glad she's gone. My son has special needs so when I came in for a tour about a year ago she only talked about her pregnancy. I didn't get a good feel about her. She focused more on her child that was there and her unborn. I had to give notice at the school my child currently attends and went back to childtime out of desperation. I got a great tour by Miss Rene. She connected in such a way sharing her own personal experience with special needs children. Unfortunately there's a waiting list. I feel so comfortable now knowing my child will be in good hands. The tour was such a turn around then before with the pregnant lady. I can't wait to enroll my child!

My children (ages 1 and 2 years) have been attending Childtime for the last 8 months. I have had nothing short of a great experience with the faculty and staff as well as the facilities. When choosing a daycare for my children, safety was of my main concern as well as a nurturing environment in which they could thrive. The staff at Childtime goes above and beyond to make them feel safe, welcomed, non-threatened, and overall happy. 2 year olds rarely like strangers or leaving their parents, but I find my 2 year old happy to go each morning. Since attending, he started speaking more and developing faster. It is a great place for the kids to be socialized. I would definitely recommend Childtime over any other option in bakersfield.
