Physical punishment and physical abuse our 15 months old while we witnessed it in live camera and they deleted it and tried to sugar coat it. Very biased environment. Since we did not belong to a specific race and ethnicity, our sweet and precious child was discriminated against and mentally and physically abused. They apply punishments to toddlers. From a mom to the other moms, please please please for the sake of your little ones ‘ mental and physical safety don’t leave them in that center. They physically abused my 15 month old child, they do not have any consistency in their staff and each class lead and teachers. Each time you pick up your kid from a different class. The worst part they take your child to the parks off the building right on the street with staffs who barely can walk themselves, what about your child safety, the park is not fenced and anybody can get close to your child since they are unattended! So dangerous

We love Childtime of Bethesda! We have two children here who absolutely love it. Our kids are excited to go to Childtime in the morning and cannot wait to see their friends and teachers. We have found all the teachers and staff to be caring and warm people who truly care for our children. This is a very diverse, inclusive, and welcoming environment and we have watched our children grow and excel here over the last few years. We have noticed that many other families have also been going to Childtime for years and have been sending multiple children here as well - I think this says a lot about this daycare and how great it is. We highly recommend Childtime!

Childtime of Bethesda is a great day care. Our daughter was in the infant class with Ms. Naje and Ms. Jessica and they were extremely professional and caring. They helped us meet our daughter's feeding needs and took care of her. They kept us updated on her daily activities and we had the opportunity to partake in social activities the day care organized. The management staff including Ms. Savoir and Ms. Narayan were great with our daughter as well. Overall, we had a great experience and are grateful to the staff and teachers for the quality care provided to our daughter!

This program is a NO for children with allergies. Also, if your child is hyper expect them to complain daily when you come to pick them up. I was paying all this money weekly to have the workers complain about things they should be able to reasonably manage as childcare professionals. After I enrolled my child here they claimed that she had a speech delay. So I signed her for speech therapy and counseling to attend in the mornings before heading to daycare. Then I asked this daycare to fill out a form for my custody case and they COMPLAINED that she was missing out on important things in the morning and she was ALWAYS late. How is that helpful to a single parent in a custody case? They never even asked why we were late or followed up to see if she actually needed speech therapy. They never explained that your child has to be there at a certain time. I mean, this is daycare after all, not school. These are things that a simple conversation with a parent could help everyone understand the situation and get on the same page. I paid the same price whether my child was there early or not. I also had to pay for all inclusive food, when I had to provide my child food from home. After the case worker for the Infant and Toddlers Program in Montgomery County attended a class to observe the teachers, she witnessed that the material the kids were going over was way too advanced for their age and completely unnecessary. My child always complained out how boring the program was. I even witnessed workers in aftercare handing my child something that she was allergic to and I heard that a kid was given candy with peanuts on Halloween that was deathly allergic. This program is only for normal kids that are not hyper or have allergies. I ended up leaving my job and doing home school with my child. It was the best decision I made! There's no point wasting money on an overpriced daycare that does not take into consideration the needs of children that are different.

This is a solid daycare option. We have had two children through this center. Pros are the teachers and the benefits of corporate ownership. The teachers have been great - of the 30-35 staff I have gotten to know here, there was really only one I didn't care for and even she was fine. The corporate ownership ensures rigor around the safety codes and training, so you know they are compliant. Also, schedule - they don't close for anything - only the most severe weather. Cons are the price and the food - at one point we were paying about $45k/year for an infant and a Pre-K child to be there, but this may be the going rate. The food is a cafeteria caricature - have seen fruit for breakfast maybe 4 times in 5 years. Grey meat products, pears in sugary syrup, canned peas, etc. Last point to mention is the Center Director. She is fair, eventually, and I believe she cares for the children's safety, but I think there are some cultural barriers, particularly on ideas about customer service that make dealing with her challenging sometimes. Other parents I have spoken with feel similarly. Also, there often is not great communication around when children will be moving from one class to the next both to the parents and between the Director and the teachers. In one case, the school failed to tell us that we needed to give permission to start providing center food when our child moved from the infant room to the next class. After a few days we saw one of our child's main care givers (not usually there at pick-up or drop off) who was begging us to give permission because our child didn't have enough to eat at school. That was a low point across 5 pretty good years, but is an example of what seems to be a pain point for them
