This center was amazing until Taisha and Aleesha left. There is now a new director and I didn't really get a chance to know her because I pulled my son out fairly quickly after he moved to the early preschool class , the teachers are horrible. I witnessed several times children getting yelled at for every single thing, children crying at drop offs in the mornings (including my own child) and throughout the day, a specific teacher pulling children by the arms. The energy they have toward the children is off, not genuine at all. I would come in the classroom at times they would barely speak, didn't seem happy to be at work or passionate about being a preschool teacher. (and your a teacher? odd) I was disgusted!!! There were some amazing teachers and actually care for the children sincerely, the children were really attached to these teachers including my son. Too bad they left the center along with the directors. Please choose elsewhere! My son is at a new center and is so eager to get out of the car in the mornings, he loves his new school!

Worst management in history. Our son had gone there for almost 4 years and never had issues until management changed in October. Incidents of child neglect and abuse witnessed by other parents. Once we brought this to cooperates attention, our son got incident reports until he was expelled. This facility was amazing under Jordon Westbrooks management followed by Taisha. Brittney is the absolute nightmare! If you are looking for a daycare with management and teachers that truly care for your child, I highly recommend looking outside of centers which are owned by the learning care group. Once our son started at a different facility, he started to be less anxious, drop offs are easy without clinging to us and he is looking forward going to school each day, which says a lot in our book. On a schedule note, Childtime takes every opportunity to close facilities down or to cut hours which you will still be charged for while the fee schedule shows 3-4 day options. Food that had been provided by us was not given to him even though a doctors note had been provided.

My daughter has attended child time for 2 years as a toddler. From my experience with her there, I’ve seen her develop dramatically both socially, educationally, and physically. A shy child, my daughter has become more outgoing, has become incredibly verbal, and is showing a high degree of empathy. My daughter knows the alphabet, can count reliably to 20, knows her shapes and colors, has a surprisingly impressive vocabulary, and understands and follows fairly complex directions. The Childtime staff really helped my daughter get over the potty training hump and always makes sure she is well rested. They keep her active, engaged, and busy with many developmental activities; I receive updates and photos and videos daily to see what’s she’s doing. They provide nutritious meals and snacks. Childtime took and communicated extra sanitary precautions, especially cleaning and hand washing weeks before COVID 19 shut downs in March and has intensified sanitary and social distancing precautions since reopening in June. I am very happy with Childtime of Gaithersburg, I know she is safe and well attended there, and I also know my daughter loves her teachers and her classmates because she tells me so frequently.

My daughter started going to Childtime when she was 3 years old. We knew this was the right place for our family right after we met the Director Jordan and we met the classroom teachers. All the staff I’ve interacted with are so kind and caring- it really is a special place. Now my child is 5 and has to leave for Kindergarten, and we are so sad to leave Childtime. They’ve done such a great job with teaching my daughter so much. Best of all, she got a lot of love and nurturing here. She always talks about her time at school, and she is always excited to go. I’m so grateful for everything Childtime has done. We will miss them so much!

The educators and the facility could not feel more like family and home. I have been constantly impressed by their ability to adapt, overcome and thrive during this global pandemic. They have met every challenge head on with excellent communication to parents in a more than timely manner. I'm so grateful for the many ways they have helped my child adapt to the change of living through Covid-19, all while also continuing to make learning fun and exciting for her. The school now has access to Watch Me Grow, so that I as a parent can log-in and check on my child throughout the day. The teachers also send photos, short videos and brief descriptions about the learning activities they engage the children in throughout the day. I get regular updates about my childs meals and potty attempts as she is beginning her potty-training. They really do a lot and don't get enough praise for all that they do. The director and her team are incredibly professional and compassionate educators and do a great deal to create a nurturing environment. I could not be happier to be part of the Childtime family!
