Chrysalis Preschool

My son has attended two years of preschool at Chrysalis and we have had a great experience. Miss Wendy is caring and kind and has created a very engaging curriculum. There is a good balance of fun and play and music as well as structured learning. My son has done really well with the routine of this preschool; he attended full day, three days a week which worked great with my work schedule. This year they even had after care, which we occasionally used. Would highly recommend for your kids!

Chrysalis is a wonderful preschool. We did an outdoor nature school for our son his first year and while it was a good experience, it wasn’t the right fit for him so we switched. Chrysalis has the backing of 20 years experience, so they know what they’re doing. I love how service minded they are (offering opportunities throughout the year to help women’s shelters, building schools in Mexico, and more) but the biggest thing to love about Chrysalis is the people. Miss Wendy is love personified. Meet her once and you feel like you and your child are the most important people in the world to her. Because she’s such a great leader, the people she attracts to work with her and the families that come to Chrysalis are of equal caliber. Music and art are incorporated into the curriculum (Miss Wendy plays guitar for them every day) but they do focus on numbers, letters, and pre-reading skills a lot more than I originally thought they would. A well balanced experience in a beautiful, unique setting with unforgettable people.

We have sent three kids to Chrysalis Preschool, and they all had an amazing experience. Miss Wendy has developed a fantastic curriculum that got our kids excited about learning and prepared them exceptionally well for kindergarten. I wholeheartedly recommend Chrysalis!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Chrysalis and Miss Wendy. My son attended preschool for 3 years- both half days and full days. He’s learned so much from going and he’s beyond prepared for kindergarten (both academically and socially). He absolutely loved it, loved the teachers, and would beg to go on Saturdays and Sundays. Even more than that, we knew how much his teachers loved him. I’m already counting down until our next little one can attend.

Can’t express how much we LOVED Chrysalis! It was the perfect fit for our artsy, creative daughter who loved the singing and crafts they did each day. She also made so much progress with reading!
