My daughter has been going to Cindy's Kids since she was 6 weeks old and she is 5 1/2 now. We absolutely love Cindy and the fun activities and loving atmosphere she has created for the kids. I highly recommend. She has become part of our family and we will miss her deeply when my daughter starts kindergarten in the fall!

My son has been going to this daycare for the last year and a half. When I first moved from Portland to Salem I had no one to watch my son being new to the area and not knowing anyone made a bad situation so much more difficult. I found Cindy's kids and I could not be more happier my son always loves to go there he has made so many friends and I always know that my son is in very reliable hands with them. Im currently working on potty training my son and with him being at daycare 5 days a week they have been so incredibly helpful to help potty train at daycare as well it's made the transition so much easier. Cindys kids daycare is a place where you can feel comfort and reassureed that your children are all well taken care of. I love it when my son wakes me up in the morning and says ok mommy let's go to Cindy's. It just melts my heart that he is so incredibly happy there.

My daughter has been going here for just about a year now and I’m not sure if she loves it more or me. The atmosphere is warm, upbeat and and friendly. The staff were able to identify my daughters skills and interest and have been able to use those to push her academically. She might only be two, but she is running circles around every other two year old with her language skills and vocabulary. She keeps up with the kindergarteners no problem. I’m certain that is a direct response to the attentiveness of the staff at Cindy’s Kids.
My daughter has a big personality and the staff were able to realize that within minutes of her arrival on day one. They have greeted her with smiles and the biggest good morning greetings everyday since. They make my daughter feel welcome and right at home.
The staff have breakfast going first thing in the morning, and to be honest it makes me a little jealous that I can’t stay too, it always smells so wonderful. They do feed lunch, although I cannot attest to the deliciousness of the food my self, my daughter has been sure to tell me it’s yummy. They feed dinner each night, and it’s an honest to goodness homemade meal every single night.
The home is always spotless with the exception of the props for the current make believe game, and the yard is basically a playground.
Cindy and her staff go above and beyond with the kiddos and I couldn’t be happier that I was able to get a spot for my child here.
I will 100% recommend this place to anyone needing child care.

My daughter has been going here since beginning of September. My daughter has issues with new people and she’s very scared of them. Well when I started bringing her here they welcomed her and loved her and helped her get comfortable with being there and now she doesn’t even get bothered when I drop her off it’s like she doesn’t notice I’m gone most days she’s so comfortable there. She has tons of fun she’s made friends that she loves to play with. She loves being there and I love her being there as well. They are very kind and friendly. They are absolutely amazing and I recommend it to my friends and keep my ear open for openings so they can bring their kiddos.

I have to disagree that they discriminate against disabled children. Cindy and her helpers watched my son since he was about 2 until he was 4 or maybe 5. He has an intellectual disability, sensory disorder, and he is mostly non-verbal. He also was not potty trained due to his disability and they were very understanding of that.
My personal experience was great. I was a single mom and had to figure out child care fast. I went a month or two with people suddenly bailing out on watching my son and it caused me to miss a lot of work. I found Cindy and she has never let me down. She was very clear about her vacations and such, months in advance. They had fun activities like when she had a mobile reptile man bring snakes and lizards for the kids to hold. Never once did I ever feel like they were mistreating my son.
My son is 8 now and we still see her helpers around town. My son still remembers them and goes up to hug them. We even saw Cindy out on a trip with the kids this last summer. Cindy is an older woman so please, give her a break. I can't think of one negative thing to say. I don't know what I would have done without her, during those hard years of my life.
