While some people may focus on the esthetics of a learning center, as a parent, I focus on the people! The teachers at Cokesbury are by far the best in the city. They truly care about your child's development. I have two children in the center and I can say that they are given every opportunity to flourish. There is a strong focus on Christian themes and learning about Jesus. Cokesbury takes care of feeding my kids every day. This is HUGE! Children that go through Cokesbury are the most polite and respectable children when it is time to start Kindergarten. Don’t hesitate to reserve your child’s spot because there is almost always a waiting list.

My oldest has been at Cokesbury for 11 years now, my second for 6. We LOVE Cokesbury and the loving, hardworking, dedicated teachers that work there. All of the center and classroom policies are thoroughly explained BEFORE you enroll your child, so you know what you are signing up for. You're child will leave this preschool super prepared for school and will be loved and cared for while they are there, and long after. I would recommend Cokesbury to any parent who is looking for a safe, caring environment where your child will learn and grow, not just be babysat.

If you don’t have kids here, don’t post reviews. There are 2 sides to every story. Following mob mentality on social media does not give you the first hand knowledge or experience to make a qualified review. Spreading rumors can only serve to hurt the hard working teachers, children and families who rely on this facility.
My children have been at Cokesbury for 4 years. My brother and I both went to Cokesbury as children. The teachers are absolutely amazing. My kids have learned and grown more than I could have ever expected from a daycare. As a working mom, it is the biggest comfort to know my children are cared for and loved during the day. The teachers here are so important in our lives and have become like second families.
As a parent, do your own research and come to your own decisions about what is best for your family. Don’t blindly believe what you read in a Facebook group.

I worked at Cokesbury for nearly three years, and in that time I made life long relationships with parents, children, and fellow co-workers. I have been away from Cokesbury for almost a year now, and I still maintain a daily relationship with many of the people from Cokesbury. The teachers, along with myself loved those kids as our own and would easily step in front of any form of danger for them. The school is clean, stocked, and happy when you walk through the doors. The parents are great, and their kids are fantastic. There is nothing more rewarding than the end of the year Graduation program where all the kids perform in front of their family's. There is children's art on every wall, and the kids are so proud of everything they do and learn.
With this said, as a former teacher at Cokesbury, I am saddened to see all of these terrible reviews from people who have never even stepped foot in this little school. To say these things about a place you've never been to, and blasting social media of your opinions based on a Facebook post that wasn't even posted by the parent... is ridiculous.
Cokesbury is a place where your child can go, and you can be at work feeling safe and certain that your child is in good hands. Having worked with the teachers that are still at Cokesbury, I would not hesitate to have my child in their immediate care.
This bathroom incident is one of many "incidents" that can happen in any childcare facility at any time. It's a shame that random people are voicing opinions on things don't even concern them.
Please take the time to tour this school and meet the teachers that could be caring for your child before assuming terrible things. Don't let one person be the face of Cokesbury... one person cannot display the many wonderful qualities that each of these teachers have.
*end rant

We've had our kids here for 3+ years now. The center has always been fair and open and welcoming. The policies are laid out pretty clearly when you enroll your child. I think a lot of the complaining and negative comments are coming from folks who don't have any experience with this center.
Our kids have always been well-cared-for, safe, and happy here. The staff is great. All of the teachers are so good with the kids.
