We cannot recommend this place enough!! The staff is always friendly and our dog is over the moon about going here. She always comes back well groomed and happy. They are also amazingly accommodating. We were stuck in a bind several times and had to change our plans and each time the staff was able to help us out, no problem. This place is the best!!

Best grooming experience we have ever had for our two long-hair cats! Our larger male cat had some matted fur that we were unable to brush out on our own, but he left Creatures Great and Small with absolutely no matting whatsoever. We couldn't be happier with our experience!

We have 2 very fluffy small dogs and Creatures Great & Small is the only place that I trust grooming them (especially our 17 year old senior dog with health problems). They always handle him with extra care and I know he's in great hands when we drop him off. The staff really cares and takes pride in what they do. Our dogs always come out happy and looking great! Everyone that works there is very friendly, professional and we've never had any issues booking.

I've been taking my Arley here since we moved to Charlottesville almost a decade ago. Katie, et. al, have treated us so well the whole time. She's 15 now, and a medium-sized dog, so not the easiest to groom/navigate, but you wouldn't know it. They are so kind, caring, and compassionate with her (and with me). Not to mention, she looks beautiful every time she goes for grooming. The communication is excellent, and the staff is wonderful. I have so much gratitude for this place and take comfort in knowing how well-cared for my girl is in their hands.

Pepin is a big guy (27” at shoulder) who first came to Creatures Great and Small 2 years ago for grooming. He was terrorized and fought them on the nail clipping and fur clipping, especially around his feet and face. Now he behaves and walks right in to the shop on arrival. These folks know their dogs! Jasper and the others do a great job on him, retaining his Briard look in the face but providing him a more comfortable, shorter coat. Great place!
