Crossroads Nursery School

This is a very nice all play school. Unfortunately, they allowed a mother with the chicken pox to send her baby to infant daycare. Almost all the infants who were too young to be vaccinated got the chicken pox, and a couple of preschoolers who were vaccinated also got it. I wish I had sent my child to a school that took the health of young children more seriously and blocks children who are exposed to serious diseases from attending daycare in a classroom in which the other children are too young to be vaccinated. There are a lot of international families that attend this school since it is affiliated with the Institute for Advanced Studies, and many of them come from countries where vaccination rates are low so we depend upon the parents and school to protect children by not exposing classmates. Unfortunately, this family chose not to do that and other children were affected.

Crossroads Nursery is a truly wonderful place, distinguished by its highly experienced and nurturing teachers, and an excellent outdoor-focused program that children clearly benefit from.
