We have had an amazing experience at the Crystal CDC. Our son has made close friends and the teachers are loving and caring. The owners, Ms. Sue and Mr.Haan, are caring yet bring discipline and good education. We especially love that there are bilingual teachers in the preschool. I would recommend any of my friends.

My son and daughter have been here for the last 5 years. We started about the time that they moved into their new building which is excellent - well laid out, secure, ample sunlight, sufficient space, and clean. COVID was hard (just like childcare anywhere would have been); however, they were professional and fair. Loss of staff has impacted all childcare providers and Crystal was no exception. I really valued the social interaction and cultural exposure that my kids have received. Cost is fairly high, but again, childcare is extremely expensive in the US generally. I would recommend this place to anyone who can afford it.

We are so lucky to call this place our daycare and our pre k education place for both of our kids. Staff is loving and caring, professional and care so much about all the kids there. Our daughter absolutely loves going school there. Han and Sue have done an amazing job building this place in all the right ways.

We have had our oldest son at Crystal's for almost 3 years and our youngest for just a few months. Overall we have had an exceptional experience here with both the teachers and the owners. The few issues that we have had were handled quickly and professionally. Keep in mind that no childcare facility will be perfect and not every facility is a good fit for every child. For us, we recommend Crystal's with confidence every time. Our sons love their teachers and it shows through their interactions with them. I feel confident leaving my sons in their care knowing that they will be treated fairly, nurtured, and stimulated in a developmentally appropriate way. While there is no daylight due to lack of windows with outdoor exposure, the environment is clean, bright, and full of developmentally appropriate child centered activities. They have a HUGE indoor play room for the kids when it is too cold to go outside and a nice outdoor play area for the older kids to play as well. The classrooms are the largest that I have seen in Anchorage and they have an appropriate amount of students in each room. With 12-16 kids in each classroom, approximately, they have plenty of space to explore and play. We love this facility and are thankful that we have a safe, reliable, and welcoming environment to take our kids.

No daylight in this daycare. Children spend all day under electric lights. No potty training in Toddler I classroom, as the toilet has been broken and management doesn't care to fix it. The developmental programm mainly consists of showing toddlers games on tablet. My son went to the Toddler 1 classroom. Both teachers Leila and Liana are rude and gave attidtude all the time. They would even discuss you in Tagalog in your presence. Liana would never smile or talk to you; she looks like ex-convict, just creepy. Leila would compain about how hard her job is, and that kids don't listen to her. Leila would frequently leave the room and go play with her own infant baby in the next room, leaving 12 kids in care of one teacher. Notified management, they didn't do anything about it. After that Leila started picking up on my son. They are not qualified teachers and don't even know how to treat toddlers, discipline or interact with them. Instead they would grab baby and pull him. Happy that pulled my son out of this daycare.
