Damarco's Playhouse & Learning Center In home Day Care

Saw the great reviews for Ms. Joann and thought this was a great transition into childcare. Ms Joann has now opened an Irving location and put her daughter over this location. The daughter appeared to have an attitude and couldn't be bothered. On his first day, I was told around 5pm that he only ate one cracker and one nugget all day. I'd never wait till end of day to notify a *new* client that their child didn't eat all day. (Seeing the plate of food I see why he didn't eat anything). The third day my husband saw a pit-bull in the window. I asked the daughter about it and she said very argumentatively "what does it matter the breed my dog is?" Clearly a sign of immaturity and little knowledge about animals and children. Ms. Joann reassured me the dog was state approved. Again, it was the defensiveness from the daughter that I didn't like. Ms. Joann is the person I'd leave my child with. She seems to have to knowledge and experience working with littles. The daughter appears to lacks empathy and quick to be defensive when approached about any issue. I wish Ms Joann was at this location full time.

Ms. Joann and her staff are awesome!!! They cared for my baby like she was one of their own. They will go above and beyond to make sure your child is comfortable and have everything they need while in her care. They are hands on which is great because it's hard to find that and find someone you will trust with your babies, and even though we moved so far away, she still keeps in touch! Such a sweet lady! 🥰

Love this place. So sad my family has to move but we are truly grateful to have found this place. Mrs. Joann has been like family to us and is very accommodating to our needs as long as you communicate in advance with her. As working parents she has helped support us in our needs for quality time, including her having a monthly date night sitting event that allows parents to drop off their kids for a small fee so they can have a date. This is not just a daycare for your child but also for you! When I bring my child in all the other kids say her name in excitement. Makes me happy to know that my daughter loves her daycare. Highly recommend!!

We are so blessed to have found Damarco’s Playhouse and Learning Center! Mrs. Joann and staff are great with the kids, my girls love going! They have learned so much and made some news friends. During the summer they plan lots of fun field trips for the kids! It’s nice to know my girls are safe and well taken care of. Thank you!

Since the first day I came to tour this day care it felt like home. Mrs. Joann is one of the most beautiful souls you will ever meet. Not only is she patient kind and understanding but she really does work with you. Not to mention the care that are given to all of the babies there is top tier. My son has been in attendance for a few months and I have felt so secure with leaving him there. He absolutely loves her and her family. I love them too! And the overall setting of her day care is just so serene and calming. If I was a baby toddler or child this is the place I would want to be. I definitely give her a 10/10🖤.
