Discovery Center of Springfield

We live in Branson , but visit almost once a week. My kids and I love this place so much ! My boys are 4 and 2, this place is fun for every age. Each floor is something new and educational. Every time we go we find something new ! Definitely buy a membership it’s the best deal!! I’m also a nurse and love looking at the different exhibits myself. Our favorites are the dino area , and minecraft block room. Yes this place gets packed - parties and field trips. However, we still have a blast and don’t mind the crowd. If you get a membership you don’t worry too much about a shorter visit if it’s too crowded for your liking. This is our favorite place in Springfield and what’s pushing us to move here !

Visiting from out of town and looking to feel some time both my kids 15 and 8 had a lot of fun going all around the building so much to do and see and play here great place to spend some down time or looking for something fun for the kids

My two year old loved here and so we upgraded to the membership pass that same day.

My son calls the discovery center “The Disney World of Springfield!” There is so much for these kiddos to do, keeps them so occupied and engaged in learning without them knowing! They have the most amazing staff, and the school director was so welcoming and involved with all the kids. I 100% recommend anyone to go to the discovery center!

Updated: the last year has been a great one at the Discovery Center. So many great additions and the whole building feels fresh and exciting! My kids love it and we come for both short and long visits. Super friendly staff and TONS for kids to do. If you are a local get a membership and each visit will be super affordable. There is a great gift shop with drinks and a few snacks if you really need an energy boost.
