We are beyond grateful for the care our 2-year-old son receives at this daycare. From the very beginning, the staff have been kind, patient, and incredibly attentive. As a parent, it’s such a relief to know that he is in a safe, nurturing, and positive environment every single day. Even though he’s still building his vocabulary, it’s easy to tell how much he enjoys being there—he lights up when we arrive in the morning and often doesn’t want to leave at pickup! We’ve noticed so much growth in his communication, social skills, and confidence since he started attending. The staff does a fantastic job of engaging the kids in fun, age-appropriate activities that also encourage learning. They keep us updated with pictures, notes, and daily highlights, which we really appreciate. It means so much to trust the people caring for your child, and we truly feel like this daycare is an extension of our family. Divine Angels Enrichment Center is so much more than just a daycare. It’s not simply a place where your child is looked after while you’re at work, or somewhere to go when you need a break, it’s a full immersion into learning, growth, and preparation for the next stage in life. Both of my sons have learned so much from Yolanda Gibson and her staff. My youngest just graduated from kindergarten, and all year long his teacher has commented on how advanced he is for his age. I always tell her: it’s because his dad and I decided he didn’t just need a daycare he needed more, so we invested in his early education by bringing him to Divine Angels, a place that challenged his thinking and fostered a love for learning from a young age. I’ve had the privilege of sitting in and watching Yolanda and her staff in action, working with children of all ages. It was honestly mind-blowing. This center goes beyond the basics and pours into each child through rich, diverse experiences, from learning multiple languages, gymnastics, cooking classes, outdoor play, to field trips, science experiments, political discussions, nature walks, writing exercises, school prep and so much more! They truly do it all. If you’re looking for a place that will not only care for your child but will also help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, this is it. The staff brings decades of experience and a deep understanding of what schools are looking for, from kids. Do yourself a favor and schedule a tour. You won’t regret it.

We are so glad that we chose DAEC for our son. We wanted to make sure that he was not in a gloried babysitter place but a place that he can also learn and be pre-K ready. My 3 year old is speaking Spanish, identifying sight words, loves to read, and so much more! The access we have to the owner, teachers, field trips, parent meetings, and events has really helped us feel confident in our choice. My favorite highlight is the dropoffs: the teachers make sure to ask how was his night/weekend, makes sure he gives me a hug, kiss, & an I love you before I leave, and periodically they have random breakfast treats to grab. My husband favorite highlight is being able to bond with him during the interactive field trips. Together, we love how the center shows their appreciation towards us. Its the simple things that consistently reminds me that we chose the right place for him while we are away working. We are so grateful and our son loves every single teacher. If you want a learning environment with caring-dedicated teachers, who value their license and the safety of your child, you will not regret choosing DAEC.

My son started here when he turned 1. He is now 4 and has made tremendous progress. He is saying AbCs, counting to 100, counting in Spanish, saying colors in Spanish, gross and motor skills developed, he knows his address, and so much more. I was a worried mom because my son needed TEIS and only had them for a short period of time. He was not doing much talking as he should have. Due to COVID services stopped but Yolanda and staff worked hard with my son and as a result all that I mentioned and more he has accomplished. This is not your ordinary daycare but truly like none other. Staff care about the education of our children and I’m truly thankful we decided 3 years ago to enroll our son!

Both my boys have been students here and and the impact on them has been extremely positive. A good pre-k education is so important and I can honestly say that Yolanda and her staff do an amazing job preparing kids to enter elementary school. The learning opportunities my boys have received from DAEC outside the center (field trips) equally match the quality of what is being taught inside the center. The education extends beyond the four walls of the center with so many opportunities for educational field trips. My kids have been exposed to so much knowledge ranging from trips to museums, visits from local community workers, getting hands on at local businesses to learn how things are made, and so much more. Yolanda and her staff put their heart into this work and I highly recommend DAEC.
